Jennie lifted her face and looked at Luna directly when she heard the word of 'betray' Betrayal. The most dangerous and the only thing that she feared about

"I don't know" She shrugged her shoulder "I want to fully trust him, but the fact that scares me. I'm afraid that if it turns out he still loves her. If not, why did he insist on keeping a secret from me? It's kinda weird, right?" And her answer just made Luna even more nervous. She finally gave up

"Jennie, hmm.... I wanna tell you something" She paused as Jennie frowned her eyebrows

"What?" She squeezed her skirt under the table to dampen her nervousness

"A-about your husband, hmm a-actually I know a-about it" She gulped. She inhaled and exhaled to collect all of her courage to continue the explanation overall

Meanwhile Jennie was freezing at her position. She stared Luna blankly "What?"

"Please don't be mad at me and please listen to me first" Luna held her palm and continued to talk seriously, "I was there when Taehyung was still in relationship with that girl. Her name is Park Soo-Young, student from the Art department"

She paused "I don't really know about her because of a few months after their relationship, they both broke up and your husband looks very upset. At that time, he was often drunk and locked himself. No one could persuade him to stop drunk and changed himself, including his best friends, Jonghyun and Jungkook"

Jennie froze when she was listening to her best friend story carefully while tears started falling down her cheeks "Until finally Jonghyun invited him to come to my birthday party in the hope he could relax a bit and met a lot of people. We never thought he met you" Luna smiled when recalling what happened that day

"You don't know how relieved we were when we saw he changed and cheered. You've made him change, Jen" Luna squeezed her palm

Jennie froze in her position with blank stars. Luna shook her palm slowly to get back her consciousness

"Jen, are you okay?" She even waved her hand in front of her face

"How dare you lie to me!" That's the first thing that came out from her mouth. She glared sharply towards her best friend, made Luna squeezed the edge of her skirt even more "I thought you were my best friend" She hissed in annoyance

"Jen, look, I -"

"Best friends never lie!!" She half - shouted as her tears started falling down

"I know. You deserve to be mad at me. But I did it because your husband asked me" Luna almost yelled at her but she still could hold back her emotions. She really knew how she felt inside

"Taehyung asked me, Jonghyun and Jungkook to not telling you about this because he didn't want to reopen his wounds when he already found his happiness with you! After all, he has fully right on you, so we couldn't interfere he or your personal life. We are just friends Jen, we're not part of your inner circle. Get it?" Luna managed her breath after uttered those long sentences. Jennie covered her face with her palms and tried to wipe away the tears

"Well at least you should put yourself to secure me from this shit if you appreciate our friendship" Then she stood up and left her behind. Left Luna in very shock. But she could understand and already anticipated how Jennie reacted her confession

Sorry Jennie ~ She lowered her face with regrets that filled in her whole heart

Meanwhile, Taehyung was feeling agitated. Since gone on honeymoon, he hasn't responded any calls from Joy, while she kept contacting him continously. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to resolve the problem, especially when his wife already knew about it all. But he was afraid that it will be add more problems in the future

Taehyung nervously cradding his cell phone. He looked at the screen then put it on the table. He did it repeteadly and without he realized, Jennie was observing him from behind the door of his study room. She bit her lower lip to hold back tears. She knows that her husband must have been anxiously awaiting any news from her, and it terribly made her drowining in pain

"Why? Why you didn't answer her call?" She suddenly appeared when Taehyung was confused to picked up his phone or not. Yes, it's Joy who was calling him

His handsome face turned pale "Ah darling. I...I don't need to pick it up" He put it back on the table but unexpectedly Jennie took it and answered by herself. Taehyung jaw dropped shockingly

"Hello" She answered confidently. She has to wait for a few seconds until she heard soft voice over there

"Are you.....Jennie?" Someone over there finally dared to speak

"I am. Who are you?" Of course she pretented she didn't know who's the caller. She deliberately fished her to be honest

"I am Park Soo-Young. Hello Jennie" She greeted her politely

Silence filled in the air

Suddenly she feels didn't need to be polite to her nor to swapped stale. Usually Jennie actually. She's very honest and pure. She never fake to anyone else, including to her husband

"How can I help you, miss?" She was straight to the point

"Ah, hmm...May I speak to Taehyung?"

"May I know what's the problem? I'm sorry, he's in toilet now" Jennie glared to the pale Taehyung

"Oh no need. I just want to chat with him. Nothing else" Joy sounded nervous and it made Jennie more upset to her nor her husband

"Fine, I'll tell him that you called him. Bye" And Jennie switched off the phone without waiting for the response

That's it. Simple, mean and straight to the point. Typical Jennie when she was mad. It's sooo normal if woman was angry with her husband when there's other woman who have called him in the midnight. And so unnatural and she has the right to be upset, moreover the caller was his ex girlfriend. Oh damn!

"Are you mad at me?" She looked at his eyes sharply while Taehyung lost his words. He was so clueless

"Jen, you don't have to do I-"

"Why?! Oh don't tell me that you mad at me because I treated your secret lover so bad!!" She crossed her hands roughly. Her eyes was full of anger

"No, I didn't mean it. I mean, let me answer her. Let me solve this-" And again, Jennie cut his unfinished sentence

"Oh you want to talk with her directly? Here! Call her back!" She threw his smart phone on the table roughly, made him dropped jaw for million times "I don't care at all!!" Then she walked out the room after slammed the door

She's not her. I know she's not Jennie that I used to know ~ Taehyung said in mind

He closed his eyes to reduce the pain. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to fix it when everything just screwed up. He messed up their lovely marriage life, even after their second honeymoon

Jennie sobbed in front of her dresser. Her heart was deeply hurt. She didn't think that her husband has the heart to betrayed her. She just thought to forgive him after hearing the explanation from Luna, but she could only have other wounds that accumulate in her heart. She burried her face between her palms and let tears heal her brokenhearted

Jennie lifted her face when she felt someone tapped her shoulder. It was her husband, looking lovingly to her eyes. Jennie could see tired and sadness through his eyes

"I'm sorry" That's the first and only one word that he said to her. Silence filled in the air "Jen, I did love her at that time. But not anymore. I've forget about her and I love you" He gently squeezed her shoulder while still standing next to her "Honestly I was shock when the first time I met her at my office. I was too scared to tell you the truth because I don't know, some part of my heart still wanted to know the reason why she left me without any reason" He paused "But I didn't interest anymore. I've done with her when I realized that I've chosen the right one to be a part of my life, and it's you. Not her"

Jennie still remained on her position without utter any word. She even glared at the floor blankly. Taehyung knelt "Jennie, please trust me. I'm your husband and you already know me so well" He said as he kissed her palm. He was sooo desperate and begging for her forgiveness

"But she still call you. I know there still some unfinished bussiness between you two. It's not her that I hate, it's you Tae! If only you were honest to me at the first time maybe I wouldn't mad like this. Maybe I could understand you. But you lied, and it's difficult for me to forgive you easily" She wiped her tears

"I know, I know you're terribly mad at me. Therefore I want to take you to see her. Come with me, tomorrow night I will be attending the grand launch of our latest product in a hotel and she will be present as a brand ambassador. Let me introduce you to her"

Jennie stared at him doubtfully. But she found honesty and sincerity in his eyes. Taehyung nodded to assure her once again as he knew that it will be success to convience her

Jennie nodded her head slowly "Fine, let's meet her tomorrow" And finally she agreed to join her husband tomorrow
