"Hello, my Aether." The blonde girl spoke.

Aether woke up in cold sweat, hyperventilating.

What-..?

He looked over to see his lover, still sleeping.

The blonde sighed and hit his forehead.

When he put his hand down he saw...

Blood?

"Where-Where did that come from?" Aether stuttered.

He got up from the bed and put on his robe.

Slowly, he walked to the Inn's kitchen to get ice.

Aether groaned as he iced the spot the blood came from.

"What happened?" The blonde muttered to himself as he tried to grasp the memories from the night before.

A little, ⚠️

Aether held Xiao's checks and kissed him.

The adeptus laid on top of Aether.

Xiao gripped Aether's bare thigh after stripping it down.

"Mmm." Aether moaned.

The handsome man forced his tongue in Aethers mouth, causing Aether to dig his fingernails into Xiao's back.

"Off, now." Xiao tugged at Aether's shirt.

As he was taking it off, his head hit the backboard of the bed.

Aether ignored it...

"Oh! That's what happened." The blonde remembered.

Haha oops.. Aether smiled at himself.

The blonde suddenly heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

"Aether? Are you down here?" Xiao asked as he came down.

"Yes!" Aether replied as he turned around.

"Are you okay?" The adeptus asked as he held out his lover's hands to see them.

"Yeah, just got a little rough last night." Aether said grinning.

Xiao blushed.

"Anyways, do you want Almond Tofu for breakfast?" The blonde asked.

His lover nodded.

"C-Can I help?" Xiao asked hesitantly.

"Of course!" Aether smiled.

Xiao blushed again.

The two lovers made almond tofu in the kitchen.

A few hours later, Aether received a letter on his door.

Come downstairs to the deck.

You are needed immediately.

His eyebrows furrowed.

Who's this?

He put on his clothes and headed down.

Aether looked around to come across a familiar face looking at him.

They looked worried, nervous, scared, happy?

"Uh, hello, Hu Tao? What do you need..?" Aether asked in suspicion.

"Well, you told me to immediately tell you to if news came about your dear sister, correct..?" Hu Tao smiled.

"First 0ff, she's dead. Secondly, that letter didn't seem to be written by you." The blonde was still suspicious.

"It wasn't! Dear Verr wrote it!" Hu Tao giggled.

"Dead? Hehe, she's not dead! Why, I saw her in the forest when I was taking care of business in the forest!" She said ecstatic looking.

"No, she's dead." Aether repeated again.

"Aiya! Blonde, exotic clothing, yellow eyes, correct?" The odd girl asked.

Aether nodded.

"Whether you take my word for it or not is your choice. She did have a mage following her though..an abyss mage might I add." Hu Tao crossed her arms.

What? Aether thought.

"Anyways, I have more posters to hang up about my business! Just thought I'd tell ya! Bye, Traveller!"

Hu Tao left the inn, leaving Aether confused.

No way its possible.

Was that dream a coincidence? Aether wondered.

Or perhaps..it happened on purpose...?
