The god was in a similar state of confusion to Raven, what could a meer mortal offer a god? He shook off his confusion quickly

Darkness: foolish mortal, do you truly believe yourself on the level of me? Your creator? You've come to die!

Then, faster than a blink of an eye, dark energy blasted outwards from darkness, and all across remnant.

People tried to flee from the oncoming destruction, or hide within bunkers and buildings, but the blast destroyed everything in its path.

Remnant was left a lifeless husk, with only the god of darkness remaining.

The audience was once again shocked into silence, was this truly how powerful their creator was? He had destroyed the entire planet with a thought, how could anyone stand up to him?

Ozpin lowered his head in sadness

Ozpin: gone as it all was before, destroyed by our own creator just to start again.

But, this was not the end.

Time began to rewind, buildings and people reforming, and the explosion going back to its source. It was like watching a tape on rewind

Jaune once again landed on the floating rock, checking his glyphs on his hand and looking up at his creator

Jaune: god of darkness, brother of the light, creator of this world and father of the Grimm. I've come to bargain

Pyhhra cried out

Pyhhra: is this some sort of punishment? To watch Jaune die over and over again along with the rest of the world!?

Darkness: foolish mortal do you truly believe you- what? What is this?

Ozpins eyes widened, what was this? The gods were always the opposite of what he had just seen, composed, never stuttered, never made a mistake in their eyes. But now darkness seemed, flustered? Confused even.

Darkness brought his face down to Jaunes level, his blank face somehow contorted in anger

Darkness: is this some sort of trick? A semblance or an illusion!?

Jaunes smirk widened

Jaune: this is no trick, no illusion, or a semblance. You and your Brother may be gods, but even you must obey the laws of the universe. And this oh great god of darkness, is one of the laws

Jaune gestured to his amulet, and the stone in it

Jaune: this is time, pure, unending, looping time.

Mercury: ok that's it! Tell us what that weird gem is!
