| 6 | Don't bother with Jealousy

Start from the beginning

(Aka Puppy Tae who's excited that you're finally here )

And, one pair of eyes there was. She couldn't read those. Neither the emotion, nor reaction. Namjoon's eyes to be precise. Those dark brown orbs of his seemed to be hiding so much, she couldn't help but stare into them. The Both stared into each other's soul for what seemed to have been a century, and then quickly looked away.

Taehyung could tell that something was going on, but preceded to shrug it off.
"Y/N, there's a seat over here." He tapped on the chair that was between him and Namjoon while giving her his signature boxy smile. She sat down, feeling both of the guys stare behind her back.

Namjoon only bowed down politely once she had sat down, which made her quite flustered in response.

''No need to bow down, we practically know each other, Namjoon-ssi'' Her smile made the blonde boy's pulse fasten. This was the first time she had really talked to him. Her silky voice was like an angelic melody wandering into one's ears. No wonder Tae liked her that much.

''Yeah, about that. Why did I never know about you both knowing each other?'' Taehyungs' sulky mumbling interrupted them.

''It's quite a coincidence actually, I didn't know our sisters were friends at all way until later'' She shrugged it off with another smile before continuing, ''Shall we start with the project work?'' Now Jungkook and Seo Jin also turned their attention to them as well. Once all of them agreed, they glanced over to Namjoon, who was about to grab his backpack.

''Don't worry about me, I'll read a book while you all work. It's what I came here for anyway'' His reassuring smile that showed his pretty dimples was enough for them to start working without getting worried that he might feel left out.

Actually, it was the complete opposite for him. He hadn't met up with a group of people his age ever since he was assigned to that break. Having company like this made him feel way more relaxed.

Namjoon couldn't help but watch the others siletnly every now and then when he looked up from his book. His eyes especially fell on Y/N.
The way she grasped onto the leading role while carefully and softly explaining everything, and the way she worked hard whilst enjoying it was admirable. It made him want to know more, know more about this mysterious girl, who showed up on rainy days only before his eyes.

As soon as he could notice, Y/N was looking back at him, analyzing the book he was holding in his hands, while the others were too focussed on their papers.

''I've read that book too! It's one of my favorites. John Berger's perspective and the way he explained things really opened up my eyes.'' Namjoon couldn't help but stare at her in  awe, now with the way she knew what she was talking about.

''It's my favorite too, I'm actually reading it for the second time.''  a faint smile apperead on his face.

''Let me see, What chapter are you on now?'' She leaned in, barely touching his shoulder. ''Chapter 3 is actually my favorite, you're almost done reading it''

As he was about to answer back, he felt an intense stare upon him coming from the seat next to Y/N's. A glare that could kill.

Taehyung felt the need to say something,
''Y/N-ah, didn't you want to show me your poems?'' Now Taehyung had Y/N's attention all to himself, or so he thought.

''Right! I almost forgot about it. I haven't finished my recent poem though, I hope you don't mind'' with those words, she averted from Namjoon, and went to grab her notebook. He could directly recognize it, it was the one she carried back at the park as well.

''You also write poetic literature?'' Of course, he got curious, especially when it came to literature. He was getting so curious, that he didn't even notice Taehyung's death stare intensing.

Y/N shyly nodded in response, ''I'm not really good at it though..'' She passed the notebook over to both guys and they slowly read the unfinished poem she recently wrote.

Reading it felt like a fever dream amongst the clouds, the words just had one wrapped around a finger instantly.

"𝐴 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑑𝑠𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑘𝑦,
𝑂ℎ ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑖𝑡'𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑧𝑧𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑢𝑝𝑜𝑛 𝑚𝑒,
𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑚𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡,
𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒.

𝐼 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑐𝑎𝑛 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑠𝑜 𝑣𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑙𝑦,

𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑛 ℎ𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑖 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑐𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑦. "

Namjoon looked up to her once he finished reading, while Taehyung's eyes were still glued to the written words on paper.

''It's beautiful. Your writing makes one feel like they're quite sucked into that world...'' Namjoon was quite speechless, as well as Tae, who had started talking now as well. ''You definitely should finish this''

Y/N's eyes lit up, ''I tried writing in another perspective here, not just keep it as the usual girl love poem..I'm glad you both like it'' Her smile was just enough to urge both guys to want to make her happy as much as possible.

''She was always the hopeless romantic, if you turn back some pages, you'll find plenty of love poems'' Seo Jin joined in, who was quietly working with Jungkook before.

In response, Y/N only looked away when Taehyung gave her the notebook back with that boxy smile of his.

''They're corny, I know..''

''I mean, all poems ar-'' Jungkook, who barely had interests in books, wanted to add his opinion in, but was cut off by Taehyung stomping on his shoe.

''alright- I'll shut my mouth then...'' The last sentence came over more like a mumble. As the maknae, he surely had the most attitude.

Namjoon chose to ignore the younger's words and only looked over Y/N, trying to figure out what kind of emotions her eyes hid. ''I envy poets like you, being able to touch someone's heart with written words, influencing someone with simple words, isn't something anyone can do''

How ironic it may sound, the sincerity in his voice and his words touched her heart at that right moment. Maybe it was his smile, maybe the way he had the same interests, or maybe because he was the boy who came with the rain. But she knew that no one else's words would influence her the way his did.

No one's, but the guy she had met through destiny.
