The next morning rolls around and I'm out the door immediately. "Yes mama, I'm on my way right now! I promise." I giggle into the phone as my mother gives the same 'Be safe, don't talk to strangers, and text me the second you get here' talk.

"I'll be there within the hour! Love you too mama, bye-bye!" My thumb pressed the red button as I met my taxi.

"For (Y/N) (L/N)?" The woman asked and I nodded in response. My bags were placed in the trunk and I had Kofi in his carrier. 'Thank god for my parents being able to watch him while I'm in New York.' It was Monday already and our flight was departing at 9:30am. Be there by 8:30am. It was 7:30am. I asked Keigo if we were flying commercial and all he did was laugh.

Normally, I don't chit-chat in taxi rides. But this woman was very talkative.

"So, what do you do for a living?"

"I love your outfit!"

"Isn't the weather just to die for today?"

'Lady.. please leave me alone..' I thought to myself as I gave her a polite nod and rushed to put my earbuds in.

~~~~~
"MAMA!!" I squealed as I jumped into her arms. "Oh, gumdrop!!! I've missed you terribly!" She held me like she was afraid I'd disappear. "I've missed you too mama." My eyes glanced up to see my dad and I couldn't help but hold back tears. "Papa.." I sniffled. "Hey sweetheart." He huffed as he brought me into a tight hug. "I've missed you so much, sugar."
"Me too, papa."
We all walked into the house and memories began flooding my mind. From yelling for my dad when I lost my tooth. Yelling for my mom when I thought I was dying... turns out I had just started my period. And to them holding me as I cried after Katsuki and I broke up.
"How have things been?" My mom asked as she brought Kofi out of his carrier and into her arms. I sighed before beginning to speak. "Uhm... stressful." Both of my parents looked at me.
"How so?"
"Katsuki is kind of back in my life?" I reluctantly spat out.
"What?!" Both of them shouted. "(Y/N), why? You remember how he treated you!" I looked towards the ground. "It's not like that mama... I don't want him. I want Keigo."
"Oh?" She said and walked over to me. "Your boss?" I nodded. A stupid smile crawled onto her face. "I knew it!"
"Wait what? How?"
"Mother's intuition, gumdrop."
I couldn't help but giggle. How could she know? I mean, sure, she did warn me about what an ass Katsuki could be. My eyes quickly glanced over to the clock. 8:45am "Oh, son of a bitch." How the hell did time fly so fast?? I scrambled to grab my bags and shoes.
"Language, young lady!" Both of my parents scowled in perfect synchronization. "Sorry guys! I gotta go! Love you" I yelled back as I ran to the cab. "I need to get to the airport!" My voice was filled with nerves and excitement. Going out of the country for the first time. Getting to spend that time with him. God, I cannot wait to go.
~~~~~

"Where the hell is she?" Keigo groaned is annoyance, checking his watch, tapping his shoe against the tile floor of the airport. "She'll show." Enji spoke softly, standing close to the supermodel, as his ice blue eyes scanned everyone who walked by.

"We said 'Be here at 8:30am' not 8:45am." He scoffed. Just as Keigo checked his watch for the 50th time, a woman spoke over the loud speakers.

"Final boarding for the 9:30am in 15 minutes. Please arrive to the terminal now."

Keigo reached for his phone, readying to call me, scold me, god knows what.

~~~~~
God I've never ran so fast in my life. My crocs were locked and loaded in sports mode as I bolted through the airport. Since we weren't flying "normally", I was able to just get to the terminal. I locked eyes with Keigo's. My heart skipped a beat and I couldn't stop myself from smiling like an idiot. Almost there. God, I haven't ran so fucking fast since high school P.E.
Just as I almost made it, the front of my shoe kissed the tile and I was going to go down. I absolutely hate my life. I was going to become lovers with this disgusting airport floor. What has my life become. Just as I was about to accept my fate, my eyes sealed shut, someone grabbed me.
A little bit shooken up with nerves, my eyes peered open. Was it Keigo? Fuck no.
"God, thanks Enji." I smile and quickly glared at Keigo, who had to turn away to laugh. Once I got my bearings, I walked on over, cheeks burning bright red. "Uh huh, yuk it up, Keigo." I smirked.
As I walked onto the plane, I could feel his eyes staring me down. My head snapped back to meet his stare and caught his cheeks turn a soft pink. My jaw dropped. Facial expressions (Y/N)! My heels turned to continue onto the plane. I can't believe he was blushing. My lips couldn't help but form a slight smile.
I put my luggage up in the top carrier and sat down. My heart was racing. My breath became shallow. Why am I so anxious? Sure, I have some plane anxiety but it hasn't been this bad for a while. I shut my eyes and took some deep breaths until a hand was placed on my shoulder. "We're taking off soon." Keigo spoke softly "Oh, okay." He left his hand on my shoulder for a while, in reality it was probably an extra 5 seconds, but I noticed.
My head leaned back against the seat. God, I hope this trip is smooth.
