I looked up to see the hybrid looking out the window at me, standing up and running before a man appeared in front of me. My body froze the moment I looked up at the man. The one who had killed me stood in front of me. His head tilted as he looked down at me. He was slightly different. Cleaner cut hair, wearing what looked to be fine clothing. The clothing was completely different from the times when I first met him.

"Hello there- I never thought I'd see you again.." He started, brushing a strand of wet hair out of my face. "But here you are, exactly the same." He examined me further before tilting his head down slightly. "Or are you?" He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him. My breath catching in my throat as I felt the power he possessed. Just like the man in the woods. My blood ran cold. But my body came back as I heard someone landing behind me on the ground. Jerking my head from him and looking behind me to see the Hybrid. I wasn't ready- but I had no choice. I brought my eyes back to the one in front of me, pushing him back by his shoulders before flipping to the side to get out from between these two Originals.

"You killed one of my Hybrids, love. You aren't leaving that easily." The hybrid spoke with a growl, he came at me with speed but I threw my leg at him which he caught. I smirked at him before throwing myself backwards, shoving him to the ground as I did with the force in my leg. I turned quickly to dodge the other vampire, throwing a punch at him and hitting him in the side of his face.

"You're stronger." The one who was from my past spoke, standing up and pressing on his chin making his head turn slightly to crack his neck back. I froze as something pierced through my side. "But not fast enough." He added. I gasped as I pulled my body forward to get away from the hybrid who had stabbed me with something. Reaching around to grab it, a fence post stuck in my side. I ripped it from my body, turning and throwing it to stake the Hybrid. It landed perfectly making him fall down. I knew he wasn't dead though. I turned to look at the other one. His eyes on his brother in shock.

"You were saying?" I said in between pants. He raised his hands up.

"Go." He told me. I raised my eyebrow at him, narrowing my eyes at him. "You're hurt. You can't take me and my other brother is right around the corner. Go before I retract my kindness." I glanced up from him to spot the man from the woods standing at the corner of the house. I turned away from them, running off.

3RD POV-

"You let her go, Elijah?" Kol asked walking over to his brother. His eyes still on where Echo once stood. She smelled so good. Her blood sang to him like candy to a human.

"She is stronger than us. If we get her on our side-" Kol let out a chuckle.

"So you want her for Nik's little army?" He snorted in disbelief. "I didn't think you would ever be one to want an army like our idiot brother." Elijah turned to him.

"I meant for when father comes for us." Elijah said calmly. "Mother apparently brought him back and the slayer could take him out for us if we form some kind of alliance." Kol nodded.

"So she is for personal use." He smirked, nodding. Elijah sighed, rolling his eyes.

"You can have her after she has killed Mikael." He offered. Kol grinned, excitement in his eyes. He wondered if he could make her his. He felt some kind of attraction to her. But he only thought it was her blood that sang to him. But he was in for a wake up call. With that Kol turned in the direction she ran off in, running after her.

Echo's POV-

I glanced behind me to see no one was following me. I came to a stop, my side burning in pain from being stabbed and then running. My blood pumping out of my body quickly.

"You don't look too good, sweetheart." I snapped my eyes up to see the man from before standing in front of me. I stepped back slightly, ready to fight if I needed to., but he held his hands up. "I'm not here to dance. I want to help." He bit into his wrist and held it out to me, but I shook my head. "Usually you thank your savior, not deny them." He said in a childish tone. I shook my head again.

"Vampire blood does nothing to me. Magic against magic." I breathed. His face fell.

"That wasn't in the books." I looked at him again.

"There are books?" I questioned. He nodded. "The girl in the cemetery acted as if she had no clue of a slayer." I told him as I tore my jacket off, pressing my hand into the wound in my side. He stepped towards me slowly.

"You are the first Slayer any of us have seen." He admitted, I looked up at him as he stopped walking. "Let me help you."

"Why? Why would you want to help the one thing that can kill you?" The man shook his head.

"You won't kill me. You can- but you won't." He denied. "My name is Kol, by the way. Kol Mikaelson." I stared at him with narrowed eyes. "Let me help you, please." He tried again. I nodded hesitantly as he walked over to me, lifting my shirt slightly to look at the wound. "You need to be stitched up." He said, pressing slightly on the beginning of the wound. I hissed out from the pain. My legs going weak at the blood loss. Kol caught me though, lifting me up sideways. "It's okay-" Before he could finish speaking my world went black. And I knew then, either I would never wake up or I would wake up, trusting a Vampire.
