I shut the door behind me, walking to the boot, grabbing my things out before opening the roller door on the garage and heading inside.

As usual I expected there to be no one home, which is fine with me as I need some peace and quiet. Teaching year 9's isn't a walk in the park. They're loud, and I mean very loud and they just don't know when to shut up. They were really getting on my nerves today, but I managed to shut them up.. obviously.

I unpack my things before going upstairs and getting changed into something more comfy. It's a pretty warm day in Melbourne, surprisingly, so I chuck on a pair of nike shorts and a t-shirt, before I make my way back downstairs and take a seat on the couch.

I pick my phone up and see that there is a message from Aaron asking if I'm free on Saturday so I decide to give him a FaceTime.

"Hey." I say when his face pops up on my screen and he smiles.

"Hey Tahls, watcha doing?"

"Nothing much, just got home from work. You?"

"Yeah, not much either. Just got home from training actually."

"Ah so Marcus and Em should be on their way?"

"Nah they were headed to Em's house. That's what Bont told me anyways."

"I love how you know, and I don't."

"Well, I guess you are busy."

"Past tense, was."

"Okay was." He says and I laugh.

"To answer your text message, yes I am free on Saturday. You got something planned?"

"I was wondering if you'd want to come fishing with me, I know you hate it but none of the other boys want to go."

"I don't know." I say and Aaron sighs.

"Please, I'll let you drive the boat."

"I don't know how to fucking drive a boat." I say and he sighs again.

"I'll teach you."

"I don't know..."

"Come on, it'll be fun."

"Fishing fun? What's so fun about waiting around for a fish to bite?"

"It is fun, trust me, you don't even have to fish, I will."

"Fishing is like golf, pointless and boring."

"Ouch." He says and I laugh. "Just got stabbed in the heart."

"Now you're being dramatic." I say and he chuckles.

"Pretty please?"

"Fine, I'll come. On one condition though."

"You buy me lunch afterwards."

"Done deal." He says and I smile.

"Alright cool."

"I'll be at your house at 6am Saturday morning."

"6am? You've got to be fucking joking."

"I'm not joking, fishing is better if done in the morning."

"Alright fine, but I can't guarantee that I won't sleep in."

"I'll just come wake you up myself, I'm sure Bont won't have an issue with that."

"He's too busy in his lovey dovey relationship to realise what I'm doing."

"He's just freshly married, they're still in the honeymoon stage."

"Their honeymoon was literally a year ago."

"I know, but they're still getting used to married life."

"Okay." I say and he smirks.

"You want that with Worpel don't you?"

"I want that yes, but I don't know the person I want it with..."

"Come on, you can picture it with him."

"No, no I can't. Besides we're just friends."

"Alright." He says not pushing it and I smile.

"So I'll see you Saturday at 6am?"

"Yes, be ready."

"I'll try."

"Alright bye."

"Bye." I say and then we hang up.

I let my head fall back and groan. What have I gotten myself into?
