"We only discovered about 5% of our ocean and that's just our earth, there is no way we only have 10 or 15 types of connections when the universe is the one that chooses the soulmate, the universe has billions of stars that we can barely count but we can count the connections we have?" Mingi questions

"You... you are not wrong Mingi."

"Is this what your mind does? Think a lot?" Miyeon asked

"Yeah, I want to know a lot of things."

"But since you are a nurse I kind of thought that I can ask as many questions I can about the body and other stuff," He said

"Do you study about the brain?" He asked

"Yes but I don't know to such extent like psychologically I don't know how a brain can develop to let's say schizophrenia sometimes it can develop at the age of six while some can develop it at 18."

"I don't understand any of that but continue," He said

"Whereas for what I learn is parts of the brain, if I were to for example nurse a baby I will have to be very careful cause a baby's skull is still soft and if I drop the baby it will affect the child's brain development," She said

"I wonder if my parents ever dropped me," He said making both of them laugh

"Ah Mingi you seem quite fine unless I do a brain scan," She said

"Since I'm introducing myself and I talked a lot about what I study, why not I ask the questions," She said

"Well my lecturer said that music is a universal language, no matter what country you're from you will always be united with music despite a language barrier cause music is music and I don't care if you listen to Jpop or Reggaeton because is what you enjoy and I shouldn't be weirded by preferences," Mingi said

"But spelling wise? We only have ABCDEFG that's all and if I were to spell your name it will be E only no M I Y O N," He said

Miyeon laughs "and you would be a G."

Mingi looks at his phone

"Can I text you from time to time? I'm running out of time and if I come here again during lunch, it would be a different nurse and I wouldn't want that," He said

"Sure," They typed out their phone number on each other's phone

"Here," They switched

"Oop? Soulmate?" He said

"What?" Her eyes widen

"Jokes, I put my name as G on yours and you E on my phone," He said, standing up

"See you next time?" He said

"Uhmm bye," She waved him goodbye

She slops down on her chair "That shouldn't be a joke, I told him my full name, am I really not his soulmate??"

Bright light shining at Minjeong's eye

"She's fine," The doctor said

"Where am I?"

"You are in the hospital Lee Minjeong and oh yeah it's my birthday," She said

"No is not, your birthday has passed and you've been here for about 24 hours," The nurse said

"Wait so I'm not connected to my soulmate? I just fainted really hard?"

"Oh no Minjeong, you are more than just connected," He said

"What connection do I have?" She asked

"4 small stars around your collarbone and-"

"That's what Minhyung wanted, I hope he gets that too once he gets a connection," She thoughts to herself

"Wait why am I thinking of him?" She slaps herself

"Lee Minjeong?"

"Huh?"

"I said that you have more than 1 soulmate connection," The doctor said

"What? That can't be, that's just impossible."

"Impossible has possible in it," He said

"So stars and?"

"Stars and writing on the skin," He said

"Ohh? That's what I wanted!!" She thoughts to herself

"Now, you have been on anaesthetics for hours so we recommend you to stay here for a while in the hospital by getting some fresh air so that we know you are safe to go if nothing goes wrong," The doctor said 

"There are nurses everywhere in this hospital, so if anything happens don't worry we will know," He said

"Your parents are coming in an hour so while that's going on, you may walk around now and stretch or whatever," He walks out of the room

She takes her phone and looks at the time, 12.08

"They should be having lunch now," Minjeong decides to video call Nayoung

"Minjeong!" Nayoung answers the call immediately 

"Is Miyeon there with you?"

"Yeah", "Wello Minjeong," Miyeon joins

"What happened? Are you okay? The nurses told us that you are going to be in the hospital longer than anticipated," Nayoung asked

"Yeah I'm fine but the doctors told me that I have 2 soulmate connections," she said casually

The two friends gasp at the other side of the call

"Is all over the news, it's gotten worldwide attention," Nayoung said

"They don't know the identities of the 2 of you but the whole world wants to know, I'm sure they'll know in no time," Miyeon said
