"YAH KANG MIYEON! Oh my god happened?!" Her friend and roommate Kim Minjeong went to check on her after Miyeon got drunk yesterday after receiving her GPA results 

Getting a GPA of 4.0 (I can never but hopefully I can get a 3.6)

"Kang Miyeon? Your dumbass can't even drink 3 bottles of Soju, Get Up," She said

But Miyeon wouldn't budge "Miyeon?"

Minjeong opens up the covers of her to see Miyeon pale as hell.

She quickly checks for her pulse to find her roommate has an irregular heartbeat.

"Nayoung-ah call 911!" Minjeong shouts at their other roommate, Nayoung

"Wait, Why!" Nayoung ran to Miyeon's room to see Miyeon's pale body on her bed. Nayoung's eyes widen

"Now you see? Now quickly call the ambulance while I tell her parents."

At the Hospital

"Is she okay?" Minjeong asked

"She is but what relation do you have with the collapsed victim?" The doctor asked

"We are her friends and roommates," Nayoung said

"I'm sorry to say this but we only tell family members the condition of the patient, now if you excuse me," The doctor begins to walk away

"What? But we are technically family, we live together and share food," She said

"You all will find out once we have proper information," The doctor said as he was walking

Once Miyeon's parents have arrived 

"We heard from Minjeong that Miyeon's body was pale when she checked on her, what happened?" Her mother asked

"When is your daughter's birthday?" The doctor dodged the question

"May 5th... is our daughter okay?"

"Yes, she should be waking up soon," The Doctor said

"One of her friends said that when she checked for her pulse, it was irregular. Does your daughter have breathing problems or anything that could affect her breathing?" The doctor asked

"No, she does not..." Ms Kang looks at her husband in concern

"Does she have a soulmate?" The doctor asked

"No, her birthday had passed 6 months ago," Her dad spoke

"Then that means she could either faint because her heart was beating irregularly or cause her soulmate's birthday is today," The doctor said

"We will be going through some checks to see if there are signs that she is connected to her soulmate," He said

"Could you check if there are any tattoos?" The doctor said

The female nurse went to check on Miyeon's body to see if there were any tattoos

"No sir, no tattoos on her body," She said

"Any cuts that could possibly mean that they are connected with scars?"

"No sir, we even checked with her roommates, they say that she didn't hurt herself in such circumstances."

"Heterochromia?" 

"None of that too, we checked with her parents and friends and they say that her iris looked the same as yesterday," The nurse said

"She did have an irregular heartbeat... Go check if she's connected to heartbeats," The doctor stated

The nurse went to check on the heartbeat by using a special device that could sense whether a heart beating fast could possibly cause her to die or cause the heart is beating to their soulmate's name in Morse code.

Idk how a Morse code sounds like so I just use the code to spell out the name

"Song Mingi... sir, the name of her soulmate is Song Mingi," The nurse said

"Didn't we have a patient who fainted today cause it was his birthday? And had a heartbeat in morse code too?" The doctor said

"They could be soulmates... what was the patient's name sir and what was the name decoded?" She asked

"Hmm let me check," The doctor asked

The doctor when through to check other patients' documents to see if any of the fainted patients had a connection to Miyeon.

He found Mingi's. It says:

Date of birth: 8 August 1999
Reason of visit: Fainted
The cause? His birthday
Soulmate connect: Heartbeat in morse code (Kang Miyeon)

The doctor gasp

"Those two are soulmates."

"So doc, does she have a soulmate?" Mr Kang warily asked

"We did some checks that some soulmates have a connection to and after some checks, we found out that Miyeon does have a soulmate," When the doctor said those words, her parents sighed in relief, happy that their child didn't faint from some deadly thing.

"So what are they connected to?" 

"Heartbeat in morse code, it, of course, acts like how a normal heart should act but her heart on the other hand just beats in her soulmate's full name," The doctor explained

"Do you know what's their name?" Her mother asks

"We do but this information is only for Miyeon to know," The doctor said

"We are her parents, I think we should know it too," Her father said

"Of course, I think parents should know who their child's soulmate is but I think I should tell your daughter first," The doctor walks away but stops midway

"I'm sure you two already know how it feels like to know who your soulmate is."

"But eventually you'll know who it is, very soon," The doctor said, walking away
