"Okay we're not doing good, we got into an argument about our situation , I just needed him to establish where we stand in our relationship, I want more than just someone's side chick."

"But wait didn't y'all both agree on strictly being fuck buddies-"

"Yeah but-"

"You have no reason to be upset over this if y'all both agreed to just stay how you are." I rolled my eyes at her, I hated when she was always right, I was just sick of being the side piece, it didn't make any sense because I cook, clean for him, and his emotional support, I'm basically everything a guy could've wanted in a girlfriend and yet I'm still a side piece, heck I do more than his actual girlfriend does, Dave doesn't seem to realize that I'm perfect for him and I can do right by him better than Anura.

"Look you ain't got nothing to worry about because at the end of the day you got him and that bitch doesn't." I nodded my head at her, Ray knows about Anura, but she's never met her before or seen a picture of her, and that's how I like to keep it, shes known to be a bit of a blabber mouth and if Anura and Rays path were to cross, Ray would probably throw some subliminal petty shots at Anura that would definitely expose my relationship with Dave.

"The good thing about it is Dave claims he doesn't Love her anymore, I believe him but then again I don't, which is why we got into that argument." I said taking a sip of my water.

"Well you should believe him, I mean he's cheating on his girl with you and it's been how long? 3 years, this Nigga loves you hun no doubt about it." I smiled  brightly at what she said, maybe Ray is right, I guess I was tripping over nothing.

"Yes Although-"

"Nope I don't wanna hear it, he loves you and that's what should matter the most."

Dave's POV

I felt my phone ringing in my pocket, I took it out and looked at the caller ID it read Ai's name, I mentally rolled my eyes." I'll be right back." I said to Anura and then answered the call, I got up and walked away from the living room.

"What?" I answered, I opened the front door and stepped outside.

"I'm pulling up to your house right now." Ai said through the phone, I pulled my phone away from my ear and looked at the caller ID to make sure I'm speaking to who I think I am, before I can speak I looked up and saw her car actually pulling up my drive way, I felt my heart jump, I quickly hanged up and walked to her car, I yanked her car door open.

"Before you start yelling at me, I came here to apologize to you." She said, I was taken a back at what she said that I'd completely forgotten that I was supposed to yell at her for showing up to my house without contacting me first.

"Um okay?" I said confused, She leaned in and pecked my lips repeatedly, I pulled away and smirked."see all you needed was a time out to act right." She giggled and rolled her eyes at me.

"Oh shut up and get in."

"I can't babe, I'm in the middle of something." I couldn't leave Anura alone with that Doctor even if they're coworkers, I got a vibe off of him that he likes Anura and I wasn't feeling it at all, and who knows she could be buttering him up and flirting with him behind my back.
