Taehyung has still not talked to her after the meeting. Somehow it made Jennie a little sad. She silently glanced at him who was still focusing on driving and watching the road. She wanted to ask but she was afraid the question will only add the burden. What's the burden? Was it true that there was something weighing on him without her knowing?

"Taehyung" She bit her lower lip as if she was afraid to bother him, "Who is she actually?"

Taehyung stared at her for a while, "I already told you, she's just my old friend" Then turned back to focus on driving

Jennie still wasn't satisfied with those answer, "So why you looked so surprised when you saw her? Is there something that I didn't know?" She knew that she has to just forced him to reveal something that she didn't know what it was

"I was just surprised to see her, that's it" Another defense

"But, you-"

"Baby please, I'm driving, can we continue this conversation later?" He cut her words for granted, so obviously he wasn't interested in continuing this topic while at the same time his phone rang. He looked at the screen and saw Joy was calling him

He knew he couldn't answer her at this time, so he rejected the call

"Who?" His wife asked

"Jungkook, he must ask where I am. I'll call him later after dropping you" He said nonchalantly. He did not know why his words just came out without his approval

"You have a guest, sir. But she didn't make an appoinment" Secretary Jia told her boss through telephone

"Who?" Taehyung asked

"She refused to mention her name, but she said that you may not reject her arrival"

Taehyung frowned upon to remember who's the person, and his mind directly leads to a name that was so familiar to him

"Let her in" He ordered to his secretary

"Okay"

A few minutes later

"Why you didn't answer my call?" Joy stared at the man who was standing nervously in front of her. He chose to sit on sofa rather than next to her

"I was driving" He said nonchalantly without seeing her face

"Really? Not because your wife was on your side?" Joy was gone too far. If she knew the answer, then why ask again?

Taehyung let out a heavy sigh, "Hmm" He confirmed her guessed. Joy clearly looked so disappointed. She stood to approach him

"Why?"

"What why? I told you not to try reveal our status to Jennie. She's my wife!" Taehyung almost shouted. He combed his hair in frustration. He didn't know how to face this girl anymore

"You changed, Tae!" Joy started crying, and of course Taehyung didn't like it. He hates to see her cry, it always successful to melt him

"Listen, I-"

"She deserves to know about me, Tae. Why you didn't tell her the truth?" She said between her sobs

"Why she should know?! I don't want to hurt her, for God's sake I don't have a heart to hurt my wife!" Taehyung lost his patience. He didn't mad at her actually, he just hate himself for being unfair to them. He didn't want to hurt Jennie and Joy at once

"But you did it to me!!" Joy shouted as she wiped her tears, then turned to left him

"Pooh, listen" He tried to hold back her but she refused. She grabbed her bag and walked towards the door "Joy" Too late, she has closed the door and left him behind. Taehyung scratched his hair in frustration

Damn! God damn it!! ~ He cursed himself of being so stupid as he hit the sofa

A few hours later

Beep beep

His cell phone rang while he was busy signing some files that given by secretary Jia. He glanced the screen and saw Jennie's name on it

He pressed the green button then turned it to loudspeaker so he could answer her without stopping work

"Yes dear" He greeted his wife

"Are you busy?" Jennie asked over there

"Not really, why?"

"Hmm, I wanna eat ice cream actually" There was pause for a few seconds before she continued the sentence "Will you join me?"

Taehyung smiled, he knew her very well. That was her favorite habit that he couldn't refuse. He never say no to her actually

"Okay, what time?"

"Hmm, what about after some hours? I can't be skipped. You know, Minho wasn't out of the office today" She whispered

Taehyung smiled hearing her reason, her jerky - boss must be nearby

"Okay, I'll pick you at five"

"Okay thankyou, darling!" She cheered joyfully and Taehyung could hear another cheer behind her that he could guess it must be her best friends, Lisa and Rose over there

"I love you, Tae! See ya" Then she turned off the call. Taehyung chuckled after receiving the phone. Jennie never failed to make him smile

A few seconds later

His phone rang for the second time. He thought that Jennie was the one who called him again. So he picked up the phone without seeing the caller

"Hello"

"Mr. Kim Taehyung" He heard unfamiliar voice over the phone. He slightly stared at the screen and saw Joy's number on it

He frowned, "Who is it?"

"I'm sorry sir, I just want to tell you that miss Joy is drunk. She can't answer me properly, so I took her phone and found your number on her first dial call" Someone over there babbled nonstop

Unconsciously Taehyung stood and grabbed his jacket as cell phone still was in his hand, "Where are you now?!" He shouted panicky

He ran out after the bartender (well he guessed that a man who was called him was a bartender) told him where he was

"Cancel all the meeting and tell Jungkook to handle everything" He commanded Jia when he passed her desk. The secretary was surprised, she could only nod without utter any word because he just passed her for granted, like in a hurry

"Hyung, where?" Jungkook asked when he saw Taehyung passed him in a hurry, but he didn't answer him, instead rushing to the elevator

"Where he is going?" Jungkook finally asked Jia. Again, he didn't get the answer as she shook her head as an answer. He frowned and guessed that her noona was the one who calling him

Yeah it must be Jennie noona who made him in a hurry ~ Jungkook said in his mind
