I was in the library trying to figure out how to breathe underwater. Cedric told me that 2nd task would be underwater or something.

"what are you doing?" Ash Sunshine asked as he sat down "Tomorrow is the 2nd task. Ced told me it was something to do with black lake" I told Ash and started searching again.

I swear I had read somewhere about it. "Black Lake? Like underwater or something?" He asked "yep" I nodded

Things between me and Ash are weird. We haven't talked properly since the Ball. Whenever I think about our kiss I don't know what to feel about it. I do like him but the whole crushing was when I was 12 not now. I like him like a friend

Than why did you kissed him back? A voice asked

Because you still think you like him like that but you don't and you're regretting it

There was silence "Genius " I gasped reading over the papers "what?" Ash looks over the papers "A Bubble-Head Charm?"

"Yes! It's perfect. It creates a bubble around your head and nose. That should give him extra oxygen to breath underwater"

I wrote down all the information on a piece of paper so I can pass it to Cedric

"Umm...Y/n can we...talk later?" Ask asked "sure.." I mumble

I found Cedric exiting the hall. "Ced" I shouted. He looked over and walked towards where I was

"I found it" I handed over the paper to him "it's perfect" He pulled me into a hug "y/n/n you're genius! Thank you"

"Don't thank me. You're my brother basically"

When I went to the common room I saw Ash waiting for me over the sofa "hey," he whispered "hi?" I said weakly.

"Y/n about Yule Ball hum...when we kissed" my heart stopped. I like Ash he is such a great friend of mine. I love his company and everything he does but I don't love him in that way. I use to but not now.

He took a deep breath

"...I kinda had a crush on you," Ash said and I looked at him shocked "you did?" I asked and he nodded in agreement.

"I-I always wanted to be with you but..now I realised that It was just a crush I had on my sisters best friend when I was fourteen" he let out a small laugh.

"I had a crush on you too" I admitted he looked at me "wow! we could have been together" he got a point there

"Maybe that's what the Salazar wants," I told him which he agreed to.

"...when I kissed you..it was wonderful but I don't want our friendship to break-"

"I understand" he raised his eyebrow "you do?" he asked "I think it's best for both of us," I told him "and we're still good friends?" I hoped

"you will never get rid of me" he pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy" I shouted at my brother "what happen to you?" Confused Draco asked,

"I saw you snogging a girl!" I angrily said "yeah so what" he replied casually "what- how could you? I mean I knew you would do that but still?" I shouted,

"what are you talking about?" He took a bite from his apple "Aren't you dating Pansy?" I asked "yeah but she is so annoying" he took another bite from his apple

"but you can't do that to her" I whispered "listen y/n/n I will do whatever the hell I want. You can't say anything to me" Draco said looking at me "why can't I?" I crossed my arms

"because..." He took another bit "I haven't said anything to 'you' when you hang with those Blood-t -" he was going to say that word again

"don't complete that. And you're not saying anything because you want a good impression in front of Krum" I told him which he completed ignored. I hate when people ignore me.

I look at him and grabbed the apple he was eating "hey..hey.." he shouted but I took it and went out "You're being a bitch" I heard him

Rolling my eyes I started eating his apple.

I was walking when the twins approach me "hey little Malfoy-" said Fred "-haven't seen you since the ball" completed the other

"pretty busy" I made a stressed face and laughed "with your boyfriend?" Fred smirk

I knew who he meant "he's not my boyfriend" I started "we decided it's better if we stay friends"

"We're sorry"

"Don't be. I'm alright about it"

"well Professor McGonagall want to see you in her office," George said "okay see ya"

When I went to her office I was not alone. Ron, Hermione and a little girl were there too.

"Professor you called me?" I asked her "miss Malfoy would you like to stand here. I want to explain things to you and the others" she said.

"you all are here because you will be helping champions in 2nd task but this time in a different way," Professor McGonagall told us

"different way how?" Asked Hermione

"well you all will be the Treasures that Champions have to find in the black lake" is she serious I thought

"we will put you under a charm so no one will get hurt" she added,

"but Professor why am I here?" I asked her

"you see Miss Malfoy two Champions care about you. One after his friends and the other well it was between you and Miss Chang. But she is not well"

I understand. I was Cedric's treasures "so who is going first," She asked.

I stepped out "get over with it" and she pointed her wand at me. "Better save my ass Diggory" I whispered.
