You knew it wouldn't be easy, but you didn't know it would be this hard. Despite your body gradually adapting to small changes, you still couldn't get use to the queasiness that would wash over you every so often, more so in the morning.
At this point in time, you didn't realize that you had been missing lectures for almost a week and a half now. While your friends, if you can actually call them that, would send you messages once in a while to ask if you're alright and why you aren't attending lectures, Kenma was busy with quite a lot of things.
"He did say he'd give me some time to think about it," you muttered, sitting on the couch while a movie was playing in the television but you weren't really paying attention.
You just turned it on so you would feel less lonely since Kenma had gone out for a while and he said he'd be returning before dinner, which would be anytime now.
Despite the fact that he said he'd given you time to think about what he mentioned, about the both of you going overseas, Kenma didn't ask you once after that.
"Maybe because he's too busy..." you trailed off, hearing the door opened and closed, indicating Kenma's arrival.
You two had dinner in silence, not that you expected anything more than that. And once you've retired to bed, the thought that you had earlier was answered when Kenma decided to ask that question.
