Kenma was driving back to his house when he stopped by a traffic light, the red illuminating down from the post and he tap the wheel with his finger as he waited while he has his elbow propped to the side and his chin propped on his knuckle. He waited patiently as people walk past in front.

And while waiting, he couldn't help but think of the conversation he had with you earlier.

"What are we," he repeated, his shoulders shook a bit as he leaned back. "A master and a kitten?"

A master and a kitten, a benefactor and a beneficiary is a fancy way of putting it. But that's what they are, he thought.

Kenma might have been far too immersed in his reverie that he didn't notice the traffic light had turned green. He just realized it when he heard a honk behind and Kenma clenched his jaw as he stepped on the gas and sped up.

"That honk was too damn loud," he muttered as he continued to drive, just barely keeping with the speed limit.

He got to his house half an hour later, it was not that late yet he already felt tired but Kenma decided to head to that room.
