Chloe lay in bed and looked as fletch walked into the room and smiled

"chlo. Are you okay you look rotten" he said as she smiled

"I don't know I have been feeling off and I don't know" Chloe said as he sat on the bed and frowned

"why what are you thinking" he asked as she looked to him and sighed

"that I could be pregnant I mean the amount of sex we have been having and we haven't been careful have we" she said as he looked to her and nodded.

They knew that they had never talked over having kids and she knew that it scared her

"what do you want to do. I mean I know it's a big deal having a baby and become parents but you are a surgeon and with your career it won't be easy" fletch said as Chloe looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek

"I know I love you and I know I don't want to be the type of mother mine is as much as I love her, I want to try and somehow do this even if it's scary. If I am pregnant I think I want to try and do both motherhood and my job as I don't want to give up either" Chloe said as he leant in and kissed her

"then we will sort it if you are" fletch said as Chloe smiled

Chloe sat in her office as she got to work as kenzie walked in with a bag of chips

"what are you doing here don't you have blood to take or something " Chloe asked teasing her best friend as kenzie smirked

"don't you have hearts to operate on besides I'm hungry and I came to see my best friend I got your texts what's your" kenzie asked as she sat on the couch across the room

"fletch and I had sex on here by the way" Chloe said as she sat next to kenzie who smirked

"I'm sure you and feltch have had sex on every inch of this office" Kenzie said as Chloe grabbed a chip from her and sighed

"I think I'm pregnant. I told fletch if I am I want it but I want the job too I just don't know how. How am I meant to do both this job is demanding and I love my job but I do want to be a mum but not the type of mum my mother was as much I love her, I just don't know what to do" Chloe said as kenzie smiled

"well first you pee on a stick and then you remember you are not the only heart surgeon and that you can have both. Look whatever it is you and fletch will be okay" kenzie said as Chloe looked to her and smirked as she rested her head on her shoulder and smiled

Chloe sighed as she stood in the toilets as she placed the pregnancy test that she had taken on the side

Chloe was nervous and she felt anxious over it all. She knew that she and fletch didn't plan this and how it was a big deal and how it scared her but she knew that part of her did want to be a mum.
