Ch 7: Demonic Posessions

"Weird dreams that's all" I said.

"Weird dreams?" He asked.

"It's Billy" I said. "He's using his powers to talk to me."

"Did something happen?" He asked.

"I don't really know" I said.

Rachel came in with blood on her hands.

"What the hell" I said.

"H-he slit his throat, then told me to heal it" she said.

I brought her over to the sink as she washed her hands. Kory and Dick walked to the bathroom to talk to Adamson.

"I know it's none of my business" she said. "But I can feel you wanting to help him."

"I'm helping you right now, he can wait" I said.

I sat down on the couch as Rachel followed me.

"I have two younger brothers, Billy and Tommy" I said. "They're twins, twenty two years old. My mother didn't want me but she wanted them."

"That must've been hard" she said.

"It was and wasn't. It's not their fault" I said forcing a smile.

Dick and Kory came back as Dick sat opposite to Rachel.

"Um. He says your birth mother is still alive" he said.

"What?" Rachel said.

I put my hand over Rachel's.

"He claims they've been holding her prisoner. He may be lying" he said.

"But what if he's not?" I asked.

"I don't know" he said.

"He says your mothers real name is Angela Azarath" Kory said. "They're holding her at some asylum. Apparently he and his people are dead set on keeping you two apart."

"Why?" Gar asked.

Kory went on to talk more about what Adamson said.

"We have to go now" Rachel said getting up.

"This could be a trap" I said.

"No ones going anywhere until we have some time to recon" Dick said.

"What if they move her?" She asked.

"I'm not risking all of our lives on his word" Dick said looking to me.

Rachel turned around to me.

"Tell him he's wrong" she said turned to Kory after I didn't say anything. "Either of you."

"I wish I could" Kory responded. "You know how I hate to agree with him."

"All you ever talk about is finding out who you are" Rachel snapped. "You think we should go right Gar?"

"I'm sorry Rach" Gar said.

Rachel walked away defeated. Gar quickly walked after her.

"I don't think it's a terrible idea. I'd want to know" I said. "She does deserve to know."

"You don't think I know that" Dick snapped.

I glared at him before walking to the security room. I sat down in the chair sighing. Dick and Kory walked in as Dick typed in the address. I quickly zoned out as Dick talked and talked.

I grabbed my head as it began to ache. I fell to the ground as Dick kneeled down. I felt his hands on my arms as the pain worsened.

"Liv!" He said.

The pain suddenly stopped.

"He's back" I said.

"Who?" He asked.

"I have to go" I said walking out of the room.

I could feel Dick following me as I walked to my room.

"Olivia!" He yelled. "Where are you going?"

"I can't let Billy fight him on his own, he's going to get killed" I said.

"Who!" He said.

"Mephisto" I said.

I closed my eyes getting ready to transport as Dick grabbed my arm.

"We need you now" he said.

I looked into his eyes wanting to stay.

"I can't let him fight him alone" I said. "I just can't."

"So you're leaving again, when we need you!" He said.

"My brother needs me!" I yelled. "I'm coming back."

"Yeah okay" he said.

I closed my eyes transporting.
