Zaina's POV:

Finally, today is D-Day. Api is getting married today, and after an hour of getting dressed and doing makeup, I'm ready for the ceremony. I wore a beautiful purple-coloured lehenga that Mom brought, and Ma Sha Allah. It's beautiful, and I loved it. I've put on some make-up like foundation, compact, blush, yellowish gold eyeshadow and nude coloured lipstick. I do not like wearing make-up, and I wear it only on special occasions. I was wearing a purple coloured hijab. As I was getting ready, I put on my heels and went to Api's room to check on her.

When I got there, I saw that api was almost ready, and Subhan Allah, she was looking beautiful. She was wearing a gorgeous red coloured lehenga, and the makeup artist did a really good job on her makeup, which was not too much, just like api wants. She wanted to look as natural as possible on her big day because she thinks It's a very big occasion for her life, so she must look real instead of wearing lots of makeup, which will make her look like someone else, and I totally agree with her thoughts.

"Api, Ma Sha Allah, you're looking beautiful", I said, getting on her side.

"Am I?" She asked with a smile.

"Of course, api", I said "Are you guys done?" I asked a make-up artist.

"Yeah, I just have to set her a dupatta, and she will be ready," she said.

"Wait, she has to wear a hijab cap over her head before the dupatta," I said.

"Where is it?" The make-up artist asked.

I went to her cupboard and took the skin coloured hijab cap and gave it to the makeup artist. She carefully made api wear the hijab and pinned her dupatta securely on her shoulder and onto her head.

When the makeup artist was done, she went out of the room and Aiman entered the room.

"Ma Sha Allah, api, you're looking beautiful", she said.

"Thank you", api said.

"What took you so long to get ready?" I asked.

"It's all because of my stupid brother who doesn't even know how to iron his clothes", she said, gritting her teeth "On top of all that, he told me to iron his shirt when I was almost half ready", she said.

"It's okay, Aimee, you're on time", api said.

"No api really, I swear his future wife is going to have a very hard time because of his habits," Aiman said.

"Well, Aimee, you're looking beautiful, Ma Sha Allah", I said.

"You're also looking pretty, Zay; this colour suits you," she said, and I smiled.

After a while, Ahmed bhai came to call us downstairs because it was time for nikah and Imam was already here.

We went downstairs, helping api on the stairs. Everyone said Ma Sha Allah looking at api. Aunt Amena took Api's hand and took her to the couch. Aunt had tears in her eyes, which she was trying to hide but failing miserably.

Imam started nikah, and after saying 'qubool hai' three times to Imam's questions and signing the papers, they went to the masjid where Hasan bhai's nikah would be done. After a while, Ahmed bhai called us on his phone on speaker. We heard an impatient voice saying, 'qubool hai' Imam questioned him, and after repeating the same thing two more times, Afsheen api and Hasan Bhai finally got officially married.

The room resonated with Subhanallah and Alhamdulillah. We all congratulated api, who was tearing up, making us cry too. After a while, all the males came back to the house, and people started going to the venue. We went to Api's room to touch her makeup. Then we went outside with api.
