I drank the silver before anyone could say anything else.

Immediately I felt my head spin.

I sat down.

"Athanasia! What's wrong with you!" Luke yelled at me.

"I-im- still alive... Just weakened.." I told both of them.

But I knew...

That I might have renewed a little but of mine and Lucas bond...

The book told me that when a mate sacrificed for another it strengthen the bond...

Truth is...

I don't ever want our bond to break...

Luna came into the room.

"Lucas! Are you okay?" Luna went over to Lucas.

"I'm fine Jennette... Athanasia. What are we supposed to do..." Lucas asked me.

I lost strength to speak so I mind linked all of them.

'Luna place a hand above Lucas wound...' Jennette did as I told her and placed her hand on Lucas wond.

Immediately the wind closesed a little bit...

'Luke... What's going on... The mate bond should've made the wond heal more then that'

"I don't know... When Helena did it to Osmand it was barely even there anymore..."

Then it clicked in my brain...

'Jennette... What did you do five minutes ago?' I asked.

I had a feeling I knew...

"I was just walking around." Jennette told me.

'Luke...' I privately mind linked Luke and growled at him.

'Did you two...'

"Yes." Luke replied.

Right now we were all leaving alpha in the dark.

'How could you...' I mind linked Luke.

'It wasn't even me! Athanasia I swear! She was the one who came onto me!' Luke immediately defended himself.

What weakens bonds is having romantic feelings or actions with another person...

'Tell me that you two only hugged?' I mind linked luke who blushed and nodded.

'Alpha, I suggest we get you some aloe vera. Which we should be able to find in a human city. Also get some sleep.' I mind linked everyone in the room.

'Jennette... Please... You have Lucas... Treasure him...' I mind linked Jennette.

I was thinking why was Lucas so badly hurt from an assassin attempt.

Normally Lucas gets one scratch and that's it.

So due to the pain from having Jennette with someone else he was probably weaker...

Also he should feel pain which he would think was caused by the assassin.

"Who do you think can get the Aloe?" Luke asked.

'I can go...?' I volunteered.

"No! You can't, anyone! I'll go!" Luke argued.
