Error POV
I snuggled with [Y/N] for a bit. With her around, everything seemed less painful, less depressing. Her smile, her laugh they warmed my soul, but she's still waiting. Waiting for me to remember. How can she be so patient? "w-ho wa-s i b-be-fore i was e-rr-or..?" She shifted to look up at me and my soul melted. -reeeeeee so cute- i know. "You were Sans. You are Sans. You will always be Sans no matter what you call yourself now." She replied, nuzzling into my sternum. How am I not crashing?

I watched her knit a scarf. I don't know why she was knitting a scarf. Boredom I guess. So I joined her, knitting a matching pair of gloves. White that went grey, then black. "wh-o ar-e y-ou kn-it-tin-g fo-r an-nyw-ay?"
"I don't know. I'm simply knitting." She responded, looking at me with gentle [E/C] eyes. "i th-in-k i-m go-ing to kn-it you s-ome-thi-ng ne-xt." I decided. "I look forward to it.." I was rewarded with a sweet smile. My soul was singing. -can you feel the love tonight~- oh my stars it was actually singing. I sighed, continuing in the creation of the gloves.

"Error, I love you." I kissed her. "i-i lo-ve you to-o, m-my li-ittl-le gli-itch." She blushed. "Wait what?" She asked a little confused and flustered. "yo-u are a-n out-co-de, an ou-t-cod-e wi-th a so-ul. a gli-tch.. a we-lco-me gli-itch. my gli-i-i-itch." He replied, smiling. "Error's little glitch hm? Alright then." Another smile graced her lips. I put down the finished gloves and looked at my yarn. Purples, blues, greens, reds, oranges, yellows, whites, blacks, greys.. so many shades and colors I could choose from. I picked out her [F/Sh] (Favorite Shade), her [F/C], and her [S/F/C]. I would make her an entire winter set with these. Hat, gloves, scarf. I'd have to sew her a matching jacket later on. She watched me work. "How do you keep so steady if your constantly glitching?" She asked curiously. "a lo-o-ot of pra-a-a-ctice.. and pat-tien-ce."

I worked on the jacket now. She was resting in a hammock of strings. She looked so at peace when she slept. So while I worked, my mind started to wander. I thought on the here and now with her, when I acknowledged that my soul wasn't dead, that I had feelings for her, when she took me to Waterfall, when she told me and showed me her soul, when she saved everyone from my wrath, when she had food for the first time, when I first created her... something buzzed persistently in my head. I didn't understand it, but I didn't try to stop it.

I held [Y/N]'s hand as we walked through Waterfall. She didn't have code on her skin and I wasn't black and glitchy. I lead her to the place she'd taken me that day. The cliff overlooking the castle. I sat down, allowing my legs to dangle like hers had. She sat beside me. "It's so beautiful.."
"heh heh.. this is where monsters go to 'see the stars' so to speak. i've always wanted see the real stars.." She looked at me. "I'm sure. Someday, Sans, you will." She promised. "It might be awhile though.." I turned to her. "you know what dream you can fulfill right now?" She hummed questioningly. "close you're eyes." She did so, a bit confused, but she trusted me. I cupped my hand behind her neck and kissed her. Then I leaned next to here ear. "i love you, kid." I whispered. She blushed, opening her eyes. "I-I..." She was bewildered. "I l-love you too, Sans.. I-I can't believe you- I didn't think... wow." I laughed. "i know right? i'm shocked with myself too." She hugged me close. I, of course, hugged her back.

Was.. was that.. was that me? Had that been.. had that been me? Was that one of my.. one of my memories? Of me before Error? -i think so..- that was when we started dating then? Before the whatever took over her body? Before we fell? Before everything? I looked at her. She was still asleep. Should I keep thinking on it? Would I remember more? Was it finally time for me to regain what I lost? I closed my sockets. I should. I need to remember.
