Your POV

"Mas- Error? Do we have to destroy?" Error was dusting monsters left and right in this 'au'. "y-ye-s to k-e-e-e-p th-e ba-al-al-ance."
"What balance?" You asked. The balance of creation and destruction, it is his job now. "How do you know?" You asked the voice. Error looked at you confused. I have been in the Anti-Void for a long time, listening. "Oh.. that makes sense."
"don't tell me your outcode is going crazy." Nightmare cut in. Oh right, they were listening. You ducked away. "Uh.."
"w-ha-at ar-re y-ou ta-alk-ing t-to, gli-lit-itc-tch?" You fidgeting. "Uh.. the.. the voice in my head.."
"i should kill it before it turns on us." Nightmare raised his tentacles threateningly at you. "n-no! i-it st-ill h-as use f-for us. e-esp-ecial-ly if th-the st-ar id-dio-iots co-ome." Nightmare's grin was an less than amused one. "don't tell me you're attached to it." Error scoffed. "no. i si-im-ply s-stil-l see u-se in i-t." Error stopped killing in their argument. One very brave or very foolish monster charged at him. Protect him!

You ran past them and at the monster. You had to protect Error! You weaved around it's attack, grabbing it's arm and kicking it's legs out from under it. From there, [M/C] code wrapped around the monster, binding it in place. Well.. you had magic. Apparently. Where'd that even come from? You looked at your own code, but it was still there. You turned to Error and Nightmare. "Master, are you ok?"
"w-wh-en the-" He shook his head. "n-ne-v-er mi-in-d. kee-p do-ing wh-at-ev-er yo-u di-id." You saluted. "Yes sir!" Keep protecting him. "...i guess it still has use.." Nightmare grumbled, killing the bound monster. Error laughed and murdered more in response. You bound the monsters that got to close.

'What are the Star Idiots?' You wisely decided not to ask outloud. The Star Sanses are a rival group who thinks what Sans does is bad. They wish to stop the destruction, not knowing the consequences. 'What would happen if they succeeded?' The multiverse would collapse and kill everyone. I think. 'Then.. we make sure the Star Sanses don't succeed?' Yes. 'Will they kill them if I caught them?' Yes. That can't happen either. Dream and Ink are also crucial to the balances of the multiverse. 'How?' Dream is the positivity to Nightmare's negativity. Ink is the creation to Sans' destruction. 'I understand. I will help keep the balance.' You promised the voice. Good. Keep protecting. You smiled. "Always."

Error had made it to the world code and was deleting it now. They others met up with us. Watch out! The warning registered to late as something dug into your back. You didn't feel pain, but your form was glitching so violently that you fell to your knees. "g-glitch!" Error sounded enraged. "E-Error.." Were you dying? "It's the Star Sanses!" The voices started to fade out, the glitching effecting your hearing. You will not die. I will fix you. "M-my code.." Sans needs you. You can't die.

You fell down. You met Toriel. You met Sans. He was a friend, at first. You met Papyrus. Papyrus was great, but Sans.. well.. You went to Grillby's with Sans, that's when you realized you had a crush on the skeleton. Going through Waterfall, you tried to get to know the skeleton. You had fun with him. You fell harder for him. Then there was the date at MTT's. That's were you admitted your feelings to him.. he liked you back. You started to hang out more and more. You watched movies cuddling, you danced and sang together, you laughed together, shared each other's pain, you swam in Waterfall, and shared your first kiss there. The went with you the rest of the way to the castle. You broke the barrier. That night, you hugged and cried. You were so happy. You'd watched the stars.. then the world reset. Something.. took over your body. You couldn't control yourself. You killed them all. Sans was hurt. You were hurt. You fought each other in Judgment Hall. He must've gotten an idea or something, because he teleported you both to the C.O.R.E. Whatever it was controlling you didn't seem to care. It continued fighting. Sans tackled you over the edge. Then you were falling. You caught his arm. This was your fault. You needed to fix it. Save him. You found your voice. "Take my soul! Save yourself!" You pushed your soul into his hands. "I'm sorry! I love you, Sans!" When you 'woke' up, you were in the Anti-Void. Over time you watched Sans slowly change into Error. When you, the outcode you, woke up, the soul you returned to the outcode you.

Your form stabilized. Your soul fixed you. You can't die. Protect him! "I will." You got up and turned to the fight. You would protect Sans with your life. Whether he was Error or Sans didn't matter. You had to make it right.
