"Annabelle."

A dark haired male walks through a large set of double doors, his pale fingers grazing the wood as they slowly shut behind him. His high features perfectly sculpted. He pushes back his hair and he approaches a dark wooden desk, which seemed to emit a dark energy.

A large snake hisses softly as she slithers across the marble floor, her tongue flicking out, making her way to the top of the desk, peering up at her master. Tom settles down on his chair, flicking open a envelope, Anna's picture on the first page. Her smile radiating even through the photo.

Tom stares at it for awhile before closing the folder with a deep sigh. Suddenly there was a sharp knock on on the office door, making Tom look up, his hair sweeping over his eye.

"Come in." Tom orders, pushing the file away, leaning back in his chair, letting his hands rest on his lap.

Walburga Black steps into the dark room, pausing at the door, squinting. "Why are all the lights off?" Walburga ask, looking over and flicking the switch on, making Tom hiss at the sudden shift of light. The dark male flinches back.

Walburg stares at him amused. "You never do change." Walburga teases, crossing the room and sitting on one of the chairs in front of his desk. Tom stares at her unamused. "Watch the tone Walburga." Tom warns

Walburga rolls her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. "Come on Tom, it's me, the love of your life's ex best friend. And speaking of our dear Anna, I saw her, at the train station." Walburga says, making Toms head snap up. Walburga purses her lips. "So it's true then. I didn't believe it until you had just confirmed it. How is she alive?" Walburga asks, uncrossing her arms.

Tom sighs and he slopes back onto his chair. "She never died, years ago Grindelwald pulled her from school and put her into a frozen coma. I've been searching for her for years. She woke up a few months ago." Tom says, his mind filled with images of her.

Walburga sits up. "Why isn't she here then, at your side?" Walburga asks, shaking her head with a soft scoff,  "she's not ready for this world, she won't accept me, not after all the atrocities I've committed. I will only remind her of her father." Tom admits, sighing. He's became the thing she hated.

Walburga rolls her eyes. "Oh bugger off Riddle, you know her better then anyone. She would follow you to the grave. Don't you remember that last month in sixth year, what she did for you?" Walburga asks

Tom couldn't help but smile at the fond memory. "I do, she is my soul mate." Tom says

"Regulus tells me of Sirius and that Lupin boys feelings. You might just lose her if you don't do anything." Walburga warns

Tom scoffs. "It's fleeting, let her have her fun, in the end, she will always want me." Tom says "not if you stay hidden, she might not want you for long. She would not care about the war. I know her, she was my best friend." Walburga says

"Her mother will intervene with the relationship, and I have Mattheo. The boy will break them apart, even if he doesn't realize he's doing it. He is my son and my creation." Tom says

Walburga leans back, tapping her heel onto the marble floor. "The perfect image of you and Anna." Walburga says

Tom smirks. "He thinks he's free at school, but I know all." Tom says, crossing his legs. "I wish my boys were like yours, I lost control of Sirius a long time ago. Curse that blasted school." Walburga scoffs, "let him bond with Anna, in time she will turn him, he'll be yours again." Tom says

"Only if you get to her first. Sirius is stubborn, I hate it but it's one of the things I admire about him. That stubbornness will get to Anna and she will never betray him." Walburga says

Tom shakes his head. "It's to soon, Anna is still too vulnerable." Tom says "she's the daughter of Grindelwald, give her some credit." Walburga says, remembering all the mischief the two used to get into.

Tom hums, nodding. "It's good to talk to you Walburga, it's been awhile since we've had a proper chat." Tom says "you are the Dark Lord, you have other responsibilities, I understand." Walburga says

Tom gives her a half smile. "We'll get Anna back, that I can promise." Tom says "I have the upmost faith." Walburga says, standing. She then bows. "Dark Lord." Walburga states "your dismissed." Tom says, waving a pale hand.

Walburga gives a final smirk and she leaves the room.
