“Robby, I think I have to go.”

“What? The program has just started.  We had travelled for almost three hours from Manila going here tapos uuwi na tayo agad?

Let’s go,” she said while snatching her blue pouch resting on the table.  She was really decided to leave come what may.

She had just turned her back to leave when Robby grabbed her arm.   “Azalea, you can’t really leave, Don Zacharias is calling you. ”

“Oh, girl, go. I think he will introduce you to sir Zach.  You’re very lucky.  Ayusin mo ‘yang sarili mo and good luck,” kinikilig na  sabi nito.

Her knees wobbled as she walked near the two gentlemen.  She knew that Zach was staring at her as she drew near.  He was not smiling though there was a glimpse of admiration and surprise in his eyes.

“Zach, meet Azalea Alvez, our newly promoted Sales and Marketing Director.” There was the usual pride in Don Zacharias’ words. This old man was always good to her.  He never forgot to commend her in every achievement or effort she made for the company.  In  fact, he was the one who personally picked her to hold this important managerial position despite of the dismay of other personnel who were also eyeing the position.

He crumpled his forehead making his deep eyes turned smaller. He continued staring on her face and body as if looking for more evidence that will prove his suspicion.

Mukhang nakilala yata ako,’ she whispered. How she wished to disappear on that very moment or she had the courage to run for she had no strength to meet the scrutinizing eyes of Zach.

“Pandora?” he murmured.

“No,” salo ni Don Zacharias. “She is Azalea, Azalea Alvez.  Miss Alvez, please meet my son, the new owner of Punta Gallarte Resort.”

She felt the electrifying sensation that ran through her skin as she felt the warmth of his hand and lips. It was familiar. It was the very same sensation that she felt the very first time that the hands and lips of this gorgeous man landed on her skin.  But that was three years ago.  Three years ago and yet, she could still sense the tingling effect to her amazement.

She wanted to  refuse the invitation  but she suddenly remembered that he was her new boss.  If he would be put in an embarrassing situation because of her tactlessness, this night might mark the end of her job,  and she knew, she couldn’t afford to lose it.

Zach was undeniably hooked to Lei’s femina magnetism. An experience that he didn’t dare to forget.  An experience that he loved  reminiscing always because for him, this one was really worth remembering.  And that was the unforgettable night when he made love with  a virgin.  A virgin that for no apparent reason, stayed in his heart and mind since then.

Every detail of her angelic  face reminds him of beautiful Pandora. The strange woman that caused him sadness and longing  for three years.

At the back of her mind, he could hear a voice, telling that this woman whom he was dancing with was none other than Pandora. Then he suddenly remembered one thing that will confirm his suspicion. Her beautiful birthmark, as far as he can remember, was vertically aligned  one inch away from her nippl3.

‘Excuse me, sir. Your eyes, sir…”

“Pandora, “ he muttered.   Where have you been all these years? I have been looking for you for so many times.   But I’m glad that I have found you again.”

Hindi na ito nakapagtimpi. Will you stop calling me Pandora? Can’t you remember my name? Azalea, Azalea Alvez, that’s my name,” with eyes glaring on him, she said in a soft voice, half-smiling.

“So that is your real name, Pandora?”a sarcastic smile flashed on his lips. Her supposed-to-be denial irritated him. He was a lawyer, and he hated people who tell lies or manifest pretensions in front of him.  He was not a lawyer for nothing.

“I do not know who’s that Pandora you’re talking about.  I don’t like that name either,” may nginig sa tono ng boses ng dalaga, halatang may pilit na itinatago.

“For God’s sake. You can deny a hundred times, but for all you know, I have  a way to find your true identity.”

“Really? How?” she rolled her eyes as a sign of disbelief.

He heaved a deep sigh.  He didn’t know what would be her reaction but he was ready to face the consequence. “Your br3ast,  let me see your left br3ast.”

At last, he received the very first slap in his life courtesy of Azalea Alvez.
