Cordelia Rowle, one of the most eligible young women in the Sacred 28 circle, has been being courted by Tom Riddle, a man whose power and influence has been growing by the day. With graduation nearing and the addition of a looming threat above her head from her parents, she has been anticipating her marriage to Tom for quite some time.
In a strange turn of events, Cordelia finds herself standing at the altar, facing one of her best friends instead of the dark-haired Riddle who found himself a front row seat.
Insert Abraxas Malfoy, the boy who has been hopelessly pining for the young Rowle in secret for as long as he can remember. He couldn't help but always think that Riddle had gotten in the way of his perfect love story yet he never wished to force the love of his life into matrimony with himself.
Has he truly got the girl if his wife had wished for someone else to have been standing in his place?
