The days were settling down, as winter had finally showed its mercy. For months, blowing storms of bitter ice flew across the land relentlessly, and began to settled down, and the spring would follow shortly. Every season had its routinely weather as expected, thanks to the hard works of the Pegasi Tribe. While the snow took a few days to melt down, the days were still chilly and the nights were colder than ice. It would take a while to fully transition into a warmer season. Ponies in all tribes have finally come out of their sheltered warm homes to enjoy the blissfully chilly air and enjoy a clear sky.l while the snow melted. It was long since they've seen a beautiful day, as during the blizzards, ponies were cooped up for months without end, living tightly together. Food and medicine was scarce, and the earth ponies couldn't harvest a sturdy number of crops, as they hoped for this years harvest to succeed, but the storms were getting longer every year. It was beginning to get harder and harder to harvest anything, and less was being distributed between the three starving tribes.

Both the Earth Ponies and Pegasi struggled the hardest to survive in the winter time. As the Pegasi fought to keep the storms in place, despite how cold it was, they always had their hooves wrapped around the weather. Unicorns on the other hoof, had lived their lives much easier than the other two tribes. They best stored their recourses, having better shelter, wealth, and more access to medicine and spices as well as gems that lay beneath their hooves. They also had stronger military and noble ranks amongst their population and kept the political alignments between the tribes at ease. Unfortunately as the unicorns constantly flourished when the winter time passed. This was their special time to go gem hunting without freezing to death. Traveling far from the range of their villages, they dwell in the near by mountains for weeks, and then scour any cave they find. This was tradition, as they dig deep within the soil and find luxurious treasures. Their findings was also the source of currency between the tribes as gold was becoming more hard to find to smelt into bits. And jewels were the only common resource available to keep the economy going. After months of passing of time, unicorns would eventually return home with barrels and minecarts filled to the brim with the most exquisite looking crystals and rare jewels.

Every tribe has their traditions and tasks to keep each other afloat, and would continue until the end of time. That all changed when the next winter arrived....

The Beginning of Fall

꧁ ↬──────↭──────↫ ꧂

It had almost been a full year since winter last came. The winds picked up, signaling ponies that Fall time was nearing. After Fall would carry out gusts of storing wind, the harsh blizzards will return. The darkness of winter will return as the land will be covered in snow and dark hailing clouds. Ponies would be back indoors for months and rely on what the year's work of harvest, storage, and trade has benefited for them when the storms hit.

Zealot wanted the opportunity to find one last thing before the shops closed down for the winter. Being a citizen of Unicornia and weapon specialist, mainly with archery, his works were satisfactory to the Princess. He provided the best arrows in the kingdom for her guards to equip. The rewarding pay was high and provided him a decent amount of wealth that kept him almost amongst the higher class of Unicorns. With his new sense of pride, he wanted to prove his status by getting his beloved an expensive choker to symbolize his successes and his everlasting love to her.

It was cold, as all nights have been in Uniquestria. He walked down the darkened alley while keeping his senses high. The steamy breath blocked his view and he tried to shiver less. His magic glowed amidst the darkness. His green aura changed the walls to a greenish blue tint and lighted up his darkened face. At this time and place, it was shady and possibly dangerous to be shopping alone around this location but he was determined to find what he was looking for. He reached the far end of the alleyway, and stops in front of a dark wooden cart that was attended by a salespony. The pony was keenly aware of their new customer standing in front of them, and barely looked up from what they were doing.
