[There will be a beach scene in this particular chapter, and in the episodes order of the anime adaptation that this story is based on, including some scenes of fan-service. However, due to my unwillingness to write the rest of those details down, it'll only be simplified in some way that I am comfortable with. So, don't expect much to see for it, because this takes time. I really shouldn't have made this ahead of schedule because of school.] - MatthiasWrites

Where we last left off, the detachment fleet that was led by Enterprise's sister ship USS Hornet, was under-attack. Her group had picked up two new ship-people from the scientists' laboratories that were sending them off to Azur Lane, or to the newly created alliance that split from them, the Crimson Axis. And during the ambush, a new Ship-boy by the name of KV Magnus Rosen had appeared, when the reinforcements for the detachment fleet had arrived to help. Enterprise was on the verge of defeating Zuikaku when her bow had broken apart, and with Pandorus injured, Pandora couldn't assist her Idol, as her brother needed the attention more. It would seem like she'll be downed by the Japanese Carrier, up until a maid by the name of HMS Belfast, had arrived just in time to save her from the final blow.

[Flashback]

Yorktown: "Look, the ocean is so pretty today."

We are brought into a flashback to where Enterprise's sister, and leader of her class, USS Yorktown, is still up and walking among the Ship-girls in her past condition. Of course, there's no way that she knew of the abnormality of the Mental Cubes, unless someone may have told her after the discovery of the Mental Cubes' abnormality, and before the attack on Pearl Harbor had began.

She's talking to her sister Enterprise regarding the ocean being beautiful, and how it was used as a place for war.

Enterprise: "I've never felt that the ocean is beautiful. For the moment we were born, the ocean was a place for war. There's nothing beautiful about that."

Enterprise is expressing her concerns regarding the seas and the oceans, regarding her point of view. As if to think that the Ship-girls were nothing more than being weapons in a place for war, with her being no-exception.

Enterprise: "Besides, Sister. The ocean is where you..."

Yorktown: "That's not true. You're only forgetting."

Yorktown wanted to reassure Enterprise that she's only forgetting about the period of peace that is present in the time of day.

Yorktown: "We are ships, taking on the form of humans. The beauty of the seas is engraved deep inside our souls."

Yorktown then held up her sister's hand to at least give her the sign that, everything isn't about war, and there's a reason why peace exists.

Yorktown: "One day, you'll remember what wishes the people placed in your name. Blessings to the Azure Lanes. Enterprise, my dear little sister..."

Now, we are brought to the current time of Azur Lane, where Yorktown, who is now bedridden with a problem of her own, it rendered her ability to walk. Though the problem wasn't specified.
It's the reason why Enterprise had shut away her humanity, and only saw herself as a weapon.

And right now, she's dreaming about her big sister Yorktown with her hat on the top of her drawer, and several opened MREs are seen with it, right before a maid came into her room while she's asleep to open the curtains. That maid, is HMS Belfast, a ship of the Royal Navy, and one of the Edinburgh-class Light Cruisers.
