[Lila's POV]

Attention seeker is what I would characterize myself as, I yearned to get all the attention that I have never received throughout my entire life. I made up a lot of lies for just one selfish intention. I wanted popularity, I craved it badly. I wanted it so bad because I wanted to get to learn some secrets, just so I could feel special. And yet this week has been a crazy week, particularly because there's a lot that has changed. For instance, me. And my relationship with Marinette.

When Marinette and I became friends, I began to feel some way toward her, and the explanation I received was... love. I was in love with Marinette. Which is kind of a bad thing since I wanted to ruin her life back then, all because she saw through me and I couldn't let her expose me. It was such a selfish thing to do. Mostly because I'm almost a teen and yet this is how I act? I'm supposed to act maturely, not selfishly.

But even after all of this, my father was the main change in everything, I cannot thank him enough. The first thing that he did to start everything was come into my life.

[3rd Person POV]

"Dad?" Lila asked in pure shock as she gazed at her father face to face. She had just unlocked her door to find her father thereafter not meeting him for more than a decade.

Why did he come back after all this time..?

"So it was true..." the man uttered letting out a sigh as he looked sadly at his daughter in front of him. "Sweetie, pack your belongings right now, you're not going to school, not today."
"Where are we going?" Lila replied with concern in her voice.
"In an apartment near your school, I can't afford a house, not right now at least."
"But-"
"I'll explain everything if you listen to me. We don't have much time until your mother comes back. She knows that I'm here." Lila looked sadly at her father gulping while doing so, then her eyebrows furrowed. She would not go without an answer, why would he think that she'll go after he abandoned her and her mother?! "Why did you leave my mother and me?" Lila demanded with her voice going stern.

"Lila Rossi you need to pack this instant, your mother is coming and she may arrive any second."

"Answer my question." Her father frowned, "If you think I'll go with you after all these years that you left me then you are sorely mistaken!" Lila added as rage started to rise inside of her. "Lila it's not what you think, I left your mother because of something that she did! She had never told me that she was carrying my child! If she would have told me then I would've stayed, please forgive me. If you just trust me this one time then I'll explain everything. I promise with everything in my soul."
Lila stood there with her eyes widen, never told him? But why did he find out just now? Was her mother shutting him out just like she did with her daughter? These questions will have to hold. She had finally gotten her to answer after all these years. Lila gave a stern look as she began running back to her room.
When there was no sight of Lila in his way, Lila's father let out an irritated sigh as he walked to the kitchen counter. "Why did you keep my daughter away from me..." he said to himself, completely disgusted.

[A Few Minutes Later, Wednesday at 7:03 am]

Lila zipped up the last suitcase as she set the suitcase down and took a glance at her now empty room. She let out a sigh walking out and meeting her father in the kitchen with one of her suitcases in her hand. "Come on, there's no time to waste." Her father immediately said taking the suitcase away from her and walking out the front door instantly. Lila followed her father until they reached his car outside, "Get inside while I put away your suitcases." Lila did as instructed and got inside the car, she sat by the window and then put on her seatbelt. There was a lot of noise caused by her father trying to put away her suitcases, once a few minutes passed by she heard the trunk close and saw her father quickly getting inside and starting the engine. Immediately after the car turned on, Lila's father was already driving to the apartment. Lila looked out the window wondering why is this all happening all of a sudden. Why did her father just come back? Why did she even go with him? Why did she trust him immediately? There are so many questions that'll be left unanswered at the moment.
