Louis didn't know what surprised him the most; the sharp tone Harry was using or that he had talked to him. No matter what, he found himself blinking at the alpha. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me," Harry muttered, narrowing his cold, green eyes at him.
Louis remained calm as he studied the alpha's features. "Harry, is it? Nice to meet you. I'm Louis," he said, sticking his hand out. He was positive Harry wouldn't take it, but he wouldn't come off as weak only because this was the most powerful alpha in town.
Harry sent him an unimpressed look while eyeing Louis' hand. "I know who you are," he drawled, furrowing his brows. "Tell me what you were thinking when you decided to come here."
His words made Louis scoff. "I always knew you were an arse."

Scent glands: Are located in the wrists and the juncture of the neck between the shoulder. They can be found in all secondary genders, although the scent and the intensity of it differ.
Pheromones: Could be defined as hormones outside the body. Scent glands release pheromones that impact the behavior of receiving individuals, whether it be to warn them, soothe them, express how the person is feeling, or be sexually attracted to them.
Scent marking: Is defined as a behavior displayed to mark territory ownership. It's mainly the alpha performing the act by rubbing their scent on an omega, although omegas can scent mark an alpha as well.
Mating: Is when an alpha and omega bite at the juncture between the neck and shoulder to create a bond for life. Mating can be described as marriage, where the alpha's and omega's scents mix together. It usually happens during sex. The bond can be broken, but this is very painful for both the alpha and omega.
Heat: Is similar to menstruation, although there is no pain or blood included. Instead, slick is produced and the omega is in a state of euphoria and arousal. When in heat, omegas are very vulnerable and are more susceptible to alphas' scents. They crave the presence of one to fulfill their needs.
Rut: The alphas' version of heat, although alphas are more aggressive and dominant during it. Omegas can trigger an alpha's rut, but it can also happen naturally. During a rut, alphas are highly aroused and crave to spend it with an omega.
Slick: A substance created by omegas when aroused or in heat. It is a sweet-smelling fluid and a form of self-lubrication.
Knot: Only alphas have knots. It's a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is about to climax during sex with an omega. The knot also ties the alpha and omega for a short amount of time until it goes down and can be removed. If the alpha tried to remove the knot before it has gone down, it will cause pain to the omega.

This fic will not be as angsty as the regular ABO story because if you've read my previous works, I'm more into fluff and romantic stuff. But there will still be some angst (quite a bit). Anyway, I hope you'll like this story. I'm really excited to write it!
