DAVIDS P.O.V.

I got a call from my head of security today about a break in, my first response was to make sure my child's are safe.

I spam called Ezra for his knows how long til he finally picked up, after hearing partially what happened saying I was mad was a under statement.

I mean how could he do that! He almost made her cry!? What the hell! I was going to drop everything and drive home but some stupid work came up and apparently they need me

Its frustrating, so what if someone is trying to take over my company by selling us out! Someone else can take care of it, why me!?

Well now all is finished finally and im going home, I had to sneak out of the building so nobody could see me and stop me from leaving, it was pretty hard to do considering everyone was looking at me.

In the car I call Sam just to make sure everything's all right...

'Hello'

'Hey Sam im almost home, how is everything is everyone alright?'

'Yeah, we're in the living room with Ester when you get here'

'I'm about 30 minutes away, I want to talk with everyone when I get home.'

'Okay...hey stop that! ...I don't care, stop!...sorry greys being stupid-oh my fucking god put her down...she looks like she's gonna be sick! No you can't do it to the dog!...'

I chuckle as his yelling fades out, 'well don't do anything stupid, I'll be home shortly see you soon.' I said into the phone knowing he can't hear me.

After a few seconds of nothing I hear the phone being moved and shuffling with some yelling,

'Hello?' I hear a door slam

'Hi dad! How are you' I hear my little girls voice say making me smile

'I'm good sweetie how are you doing?' I ask still smiling

'Good, I have sammy's phone' I hear her giggle

'You took his phone!' I say with a gasp 'that was a brave thing, I don't think anyone has been able to accomplish something like that' I say with amazement, I mean gray takes his phone all the time but she doesn't need to know that.

'Really!? I'm the first!' She laughs and I can faintly hear Sam in the background pleading for his phone

'When I get home we can celebrate, okay! I'm almost there too, how does that sound' I ask I can hear her jumping around

'Yay! Yes please! ...I'm going to give Sammy back the phone he promises me candy!' I chuckle at Sam bargaining with a 7 year old

'Sorry about that dad, what were you saying?' He says with a sigh

'Nothing, but were having a little celebration today'

'For what, shit! Is it someone's birthday, I totally forgot'

'Calm down, its not a birthday, just something for ester. Oh, and if she asks, she's the only one to ever take your phone okay?'

'Okay? But she isn't grays taken it plenty of time's

'Just go along with it please, and tell your brother's

'You got it, I'll see you soon dad'

'Alright, bye Sam'

'Bye' a few seconds later the line goes silent and I drove in silence, until my phone rings I look at it to see Damien calling, maybe he needs something

'Hello?'

'Dad!' I hear him yell panicked

'What's wrong, what happened!?'

'S-sam-' it goes quiet and I look to see my signal dropped. Of course.

'Damien, what's happening? What's wrong!'

'Gray...' his voice cuts out again but the next thing I hear has me scared and speeding

'Dead-' and it cuts out for a third time.

Throwing my phone into the passenger I pass cars not giving two fucks what they think.

I'm only focusing on one thing. My family.

Me and my sister got locked out of her car today and had to sit around on a parking lot til triple A came.
