What's wrong with Levi's Secretary ? [Levi x Reader]

Even on the day before the wedding, the couple are still cooped up in the office since they can't just ditch their work easily. So there she is, sitting on the sofa across from Levi in his private office again. They have been spending a lot of time working side by side these days.

"The wedding's tomorrow, so just go home and get some rest brat."

After Levi broke the silence, (Y/n) looked up from the papers on her lap, "I can't unless you take time off too. It's not fair."

"That sounds like you don't want to be apart, even for one second." He teases the woman.

"It's along the lines of that, so... yeah."

(Y/n) returns her attention back to the documents while Levi seems to be thinking of something until his silver eyes land on her phone that's laying on the table. Without her knowing, Levi reached for his secretary's phone while dialing her number. It only takes a few seconds for her phone to vibrate.

The woman turns her head into the direction where she left her phone, but it isn't there. She looks at Levi who's holding the missing device, "what are you doing with my phone ?"

"Tch, I'm not liking this at all. Look."

Levi shows her vibrating phone that displays : [Vice President Levi Ackerman]

He begins to type something on her phone before handing it back to the confused secretary. (Y/n) cautiously receives her phone and checks if there's any kind of change on it. On the contact list, Levi's name is no longer 'Vice President Levi Ackerman'. He had changed it to 'Husband'.

Upon seeing this, she couldn't help but snicker a bit, "oh my.."

"I'll be out for a bit, I need to hand over these papers to Armin." (Y/n) stood from the comfy sofa and exited his private office in search of the male blue eyed employee. She quickly spotted him with his nose buried behind the monitor, "Hey there, this is the list of Mr. Ackerman's current project and the officers in charge. I listed them so they're easy to check."

Armin frowns, "(Y/n), you're working this hard even when the wedding's tomorrow ? At this rate you'll even be working on your honeymoon."

"I agree with Armin here." Eren added.

"Guys, listen. During (Y/n)'s honeymoon, whatever comes up, you guys are not allowed to contact (Y/n), alright ? This woman needs some time to unwind and have a taste of freedom."

"Yeah ! And if I may add, (Y/n), don't use protection on your honeymoon ! We want to see mini carbon copies of you and Mr. Ackerman !"

Connie gives her a thumbs up, "Just relax and do all the things you've wanted to do, okay ? Don't let the work be a cockblock. We'll take care of it !"

The other cheered in agreement, wanting the poor secretary to enjoy the moment of her life for once. With a slightly blushing face, (Y/n) sends a shy nod to her friends, "t-thank you. You guys are the best ! So uh.. See you tomorrow hehe." With that, she skipped out from the planning division room.

--- TIME SKIP -- AT NIGHT ---

"So, it's only a day to go. Congratulations."

Zeke somehow manages to persuade Levi to have a man to man talk. They both end up in a random coffee shop, and it's half past nine o'clock at night. At first, Levi refuses. But after seeing the look on Zeke's face, he finally gave it a shot.

"It's not long before you leave, right ?" Levi inquired, "will you be going back to Marley ?"

"Nope. I just.." The blonde heaves a sigh, "I just want to travel to wherever life guides me. Think of it as a journey to discover myself. I thought maybe, if I roam until I'm exhausted and come back to where I belong, then it'll be alright."

"I see."

The bearded man then clears his throat, "and.. uh.. I want to apologize for.. all the things I have done and said."

Levi's face doesn't budge a bit, but he only jerked his head as a sign for Zeke to proceed.

"I distorted our past. I twisted the story and told people otherwise. It was actually me who stole your food just to see you starving even more back then. I bullied you countless times and, and... I even envied everything about you when you managed to escape the Underground and start making money, even a new company. I thought of many ways to take you down, but you're just so.. invincible. Not only that, I also tried to take away the one you love just to make you suffer for once. Back then, I really wanted to win just for once so I tried to take things away from you. But now I realized, you have completely won. Tomorrow, you'll have (Y/n) by your side forever."

He slouches back on the chair after getting everything off his chest. Levi only hummed before staring at the man, "it's a surprise that you have the balls to say that. I bet you're too scared to tell the truth to the public. You ran to me instead."

"Levi, I'm sorr-"

"Save it," The raven haired man cuts him off, "I don't give a shit about the past. What matters is.."

"As a winner, I'll finally claim my beautiful prize tomorrow. And you're going to watch me there, like fucking a loser."
