You haven't seen Noya outside of class in over a week now and almost everyone around you had picked up on your bad mood.
You said it was because you were 'tired and stressed'.
That was partially true since your math teacher had given you a crazy amount of homework this past week, but part of you knew that Noya was the reason.
You missed him.
Without the bubbly boy around, you felt like something wasn't right. Not as it should be.
You sighed and pushed the thought to the back of your head as you focused on the text you had to read in class.
"Y/N-chan", Noya whispered from behind you.
"Mhh?"
You didn't turn around, too scared of the teacher picking up on your conversation.
"Are you ok? You seem kinda out of it lately."
You heart skipped a beat. You didn't want Noya to think that you were a weak cry baby who couldn't handle a few weeks without him.
"Everything's fine."
Noya sighed and with that the conversation ended as quickly as it had begun.
One week later
"Are you comming to the match tomorrow?", Kageyama asked you while the both of you sat in your living room sharing a bucket of ice cream.
"I don't know yet. I have so much homework to do and I don't like loud noises anyway."
"Come on. You haven't seen a match of mine for so long."
"I know..."
"I won't force you. I'm pretty sure we will win, so you could just see the next game if you really don't wanna come."
"I'll think about it."
The truth was that you were a little butthurt. You had waited the whole week for Noya to invite you but he still hadn't ask you to come and watch the match. So maybe he didn't want you to be there?
You knew that your ego was getting the best of you and you should go, but some part of you didn't want Noya to think that you were needy. Or that you couldn't live without him. Or that he didn't have to put in any work now that you also catched feelings for him.
