The convoy is on the move, unbeknownst to the people driving, the thieves are on their tail. Inside of a large truck, Scorch, Cain and Hat Trick get ready to hit the convoy. Hat Trick gets his beam rifle ready and fires a shot at one of the black trucks. This rifle fires plasma in a beam of light, burning a hole through the target. When Hat Trick fired the weapon, the beam of plasma went right through the window and hit the driver, putting a burning hole through his skull. The driver slumps onto the steering wheel, dead. This causes the black truck to swerve in front of the convoy. Hat Trick and Cain then open their car doors and stand on the side of the moving vehicle so they can hijack the convoy. The two both pull out machine pistols with armor piercing rounds loaded in them and they fire into the trucks, killing the men inside. Scorch drives on to the left side of the convoy vehicle so Hat Trick and Cain can get in close.

Hat Trick has to climb on top of their car in order to get a good view of the target. The two jump onto the convoy and begin dispatching the enemy trucks. Cain lifts up his wrist and a small rocket propelled explosive comes out of the wrist piece of his armor. The explosive hits a truck, blowing up the front end and causing it to flip over. Hat Trick takes his beam rifle and aims at another truck. He shoots at the hood of said truck, blowing up the engine, stopping it in its tracks. He then turns around and waves his hand, signaling Scorch to stop his vehicle. Cain walks to the front of the truck and steps onto the roof. He then reaches over the side and bashes the door once, causing it to fall off. He then swings himself into the truck, punches the driver once, breaking his neck and proceeds to stop the truck. He then gets out and heads to the back of the semi-truck.

Kassandra watches their position from a rooftop not far from them. Hat Trick and Cain both glance at each other and nod. The two open up the truck to reveal the contents inside. When they open it, all they see is a corpse. It was their arms dealer/spy, Lenny. He was tied to the inside of the truck, beaten and wearing nothing but his boxers, with the word 'Sike' carved into his chest. Hat Trick slightly lifts his helmet off of his face and throws up. Cain slowly backs away.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Kassandra asked.

"I-its a body..." Cain stuttered.

"Wait what?"

"There's a body in the truck, no weapons, just a bo-" an explosion goes off in the background before Cain can finish his thought.

Cain, Kassandra and Hat Trick all turn around to see Scorch's vehicle has exploded in the distance. The three saw two silhouettes emerge from the flames and as they got closer, they became more visible than silhouettes, they were two people dressed in black and gold armor, a man and a woman. The woman had Scorch over her shoulder. The two take a few more steps and she throws Scorch to the ground and stomps on his chest. It was Delta and Viper, finally coming face-to-face with Hat Trick and his crew. There was fear in Hat Trick's eyes, as these weren't your run of the mill gritty mercenaries, these people were big and strong and wore state of the art armor, clean and pristine.

"We're glad to finally meet you guys," Delta said sarcastically.

Scorch groaned as Viper pressed her foot harder into his chest. Delta cracks his knuckles with malicious intent.

"Take the shot!" Hat Trick yelled into his communicator.

Kassandra aims her weapon at Viper. She sees her in her scope as she lines up the shot. Viper looks in Kassandra's direction as if she could see her. Suddenly, Viper disappears out of thin air. This frightens Kassandra for a moment. Within a second, an arm is wrapped around her neck and a kunai knife is put under her chin.

"Let's let the boys play for a bit, shall we?" Viper laughed as she tightened her arm around Kassandra's neck.

Hat Trick pulls out two pistols, while Cain gets into his battle stance. Delta saw that they were ready to fight but wasn't worried about the outcome. Where he comes from, he can tell an opponent's ability to fight based on their stance.
