"What do you remember so far?" I asked, my eyes not leaving his. He shifted his sight around, his face scrunching as if he was struggling. I felt my heart break a bit watching his trying to figure it out.

"Its all in pieces." He finally answered, "I remember being at a beach house with you. I remember you being in your apartment 1940's with me...all of it just you."

Before I could even open my mouth to speak, his hand wrapped around my wrist. He pulled me forward off the last step. I stumbled a bit as my hand fell on his shoulder to steady myself. I felt the heat growing on my cheeks. My eyes fluttered around his face, trying to read the unchanging scowl on his face.

In seconds his hand moved away from my wrist, grabbing my face between his hands. His lips crashed into mine. I was taken aback from the sudden change. Going from one word answers to this.

It was different this time around though. The feeling wasn't sweet and innocent kiss like the ones before. This one was rough and chilled. Almost as if I could feel the horrors he had gone through flowing right into me.

I pulled back suddenly. I felt like my lips were burning from the sensation. My chest moved up and down slowly as I stared at him in horror. His glare stayed the same. Cold blue eyes staring down at me under his hat.

I didn't know who this was anymore. It was like the entire time he had been trying to remember, he had lost himself in the darkness. I felt my body began to shake. Trembling at the thought of who he had become. He seemed to notice the shift in my emotions. His face fell into one of concern and hurt.

He opened his mouth as he moved forward to say something. In the exact moment the wall beside us crumbled. I felt a strong force grip tightly to my arms, forcing me to fly backwards. My body slammed into the staircase. Opening my eyes I could see a bot that looked like a smaller Ultron.

I struggled against it as it pulled its arm up. A blue light emerged from it. Before it could shoot out Bucky grabbed the bot off of me quickly. Smashing it into the wall, and slamming his metal arm into it. I watched the light go out into the bots eyes as it fell over.

I leaned up onto my elbows staring at it in shock. Bucky turned to me with an even bigger scowl then before.

"What the hell was that?" He asked me. His voice low and serious.

I stayed silent as my mind began to rush. "What I've been hiding from." I said with a breath. I struggled a bit to sit up fully. Bucky's eyes followed me as I walked towards the hole. I peered down noticing a few more bots walking slowly towards the museum.

"About five more coming." I said as I looked over at Bucky. He just furrowed his brows towards me. Tilting his head in confusion.

"You still carry knives on you?" I asked simply, holding my hand out to him. Bucky's eyes glared as he shifted his hand into his pocket. He pulled one out, placing it into my hands. I took a deep breath, rolling my shoulders back. Flipping the knife in my hand, planning out what to do next.

There was too many people here, and I didn't want to be the one to destroy this place anymore then it now was. I scanned the area. Realizing the park ahead was fairly empty with the arrival of murder bots. Phase down, make my way there and finish it off. I turned my head to Bucky who's eyes never left me.

"You helping or not?" I asked a bit arrogantly. I knew I was being a bit cold. My mind was in two different places when it came to Bucky. He continued to stay silent, as if contemplating the decision. He let out a long breath before walking up to the hole. Looking down onto the sidewalk for a second before jumping down.

The cement crush beneath him as he landed on his knees. Slowly lifting himself up to his feet, gaining the attention of the bots. I stared over at the park, focusing on it before phasing out. I watched as Bucky slammed another on against the wall behind him, crushing it on impact.

One down, four more to go. Two more noticed my presence behind them, turning around quickly and running towards me. Once they were close enough I started throwing my punches and kicks towards them. Shoving my knife into them break through the hard metal that covered the wires before ripping out what I could to shut them down.

Quickly the two went down. I turned to see Bucky finishing off the last two he was against. He didn't struggle one bit taking them down. I caught my breath as I stared at him. I could swear I saw a small smirk land on his face. As if he was enjoying being back into battle with me. However, in a split second it dropped.

I felt something grab my ankle, throwing me across the air. One last bot was behind me and I didn't even notice. My back slammed into a tree beside me along with my head. A ringing in my ears immediately filled the area around me, my eyes hazing over. My body fell to the ground.

Blurred imaged flashed as I tried to sit up. Bucky running over and taking down the final bot. My entire body felt numb, except for the shooting pain in my back. I groaned as I saw Bucky tower over me, quickly kneeling down and grabbing me. I could see his lips moving but the ringing was drowning out his voice.

I needed to get out. Get back to the compound. Hopefully get myself some where safe and healed up. I didn't want to lose Bucky though. I brought the last bit of energy I had, grabbing tightly to Bucky's arms. Flowing what I had left in me though the both of us. Forcing us to faze back to the compound.
