To be a Blight

Prologue

"Huh, were the other twins this small too?" said Alador with a hand on his chin as he inspected 2 babies in a crib

Amity and Odwin Blight, his new children

Alador stared at them tilting his head, a little puzzled by the twins, unlike the the Edric and Emira, who looked the same, Amity and Odwin looked very different from each other

Although you could still very easily recognize them as siblings, the two had different looks, Amity had Alador's golden eyes and brown hair while Odwin took after his mother, he had the same mint green hair and blue eyes

"Dear!" Said Odalia stepping into the room "c'mon, we have work to do!"

Alador didn't reply, he just continued staring at his children, specifically Odwin

"Dear?"

"Doesn't Odwin look like he's watching us?" Asked Alador leaning in to get a closer look at his youngest son

"It's what babies do, Alador, they watch others. Now come on, we have a sale today" said Odalia taking Alador with her out of the room before turning to an abomination standing in the room "Abomination, make sure nothing bad happens to the babies while we're gone"

And with that, they left, Odwin let out a sigh of relief

He was originally a fantasy obsessed seven year old orphan before he died in an accident, now he's Odwin Blight, son of Odalia and Alador Blight

And twin brother of Amity Blight....a character within his favorite show, the owl house

Originally, he thought that this was just a dream, but the feelings were too vivid, the feeling of the crib's wood, the gooey....goo from the abominations that held him, and the touch of his new parents

It was too real to consider a dream, so he accepted the truth that he, as much as it gave very conflicting emotions, was now a Blight

But there was magic here, REAL MAGIC! Odwin was excited to be able to cast spells and become a powerful witch

But the ride fate has for him is anything but smooth

"Amity, why do you look so bummed out?" Asked Odwin tilting his head as he watched his twin enter the room drooping sadly "and why are you in my room?"

"Mom and dad won't let Willow into our birthday party" said Amity frowning as she sat down on her bed "i don't understand why i have to be friends with  people i don't like"

"Mom and dad are stupid, and they make stupid rules, but Maybe, you could be friends with Willow in secret without anyone knowing" said Odwin smiling as he sat next to Amity

"That's easy for you say, all you do is practice and read about magic" said Amity crestfallen

"Hey! Magic is very cool and i will not allow you to insult it!" Said Odwin narrowing his eyes while poking Amity's cheek "*boop*"

Amity laughed as she pushed Odwin's hand off of her face

"You're obsessed!" Said Amity with wide smile

"I'm not!" Replied Odwin crossing his arms, making Amity raise a brow "Ok, maybe a little...let's just get ready for the party, ok?"

Amity laughed happily before nodding, then she headed out to get ready

It's been a few years since Odwin was born, he forgot a lot about the owl house during those years, but he also still remembered a good portion of it
