You had just entered the café you worked at. It was about six in the morning and you were tired beyond comprehension. You were hoping that you could get in, and set everything up without anyone coming in while you were susceptible to irritation. But of course, someone walked into the café right after you tied your apron around yourself. It was a young blonde guy. He was on his phone and you rubbed your eyes quickly, trying to put on your most welcoming demeanor. He looked up at you and smiled.

His demeanor was more welcoming than yours, but you also saw a lot of confidence

His demeanor was more welcoming than yours, but you also saw a lot of confidence. Self assurance. Not in a bad way, though. You actually liked it. The guy looked you up and down and his smiled shifted into a bit of a smirk.

"Anneyeong. Could I get a regular coffee, no sweetener, honey?", he said before turning his phone off and sticking it in his pocket. "Honey?", you asked. "Yes. Honey. Like from bees.", he said like you were stupid. You nodded. "No, I know, I'm sorry. It's just that...nobody ever asks us to do that. I'd be glad to, though.", you nervously smiled. You walked over to the beans and grabbed the hand grinder. He cleared his throat. "And, go easy on it?", he requested. Of course, you nodded once more and began grinding his beans. You had gotten lost in your thoughts about what you wanted to do after your shift. Thinking about trying to catch a movie before the theatre closed. Maybe, inviting a friend over to watch a drama instead. You hadn't realized that you'd been grinding the beans for a while now. Once you looked at them, you saw that they looked like an extremely fine powder. Finer than they should be. Sighing, you were about to throw the beans out and start over, when your customer stopped you.

"Uh, what're you doing?", he asked, his brows knitted in confusion. "O-Oh, I over-grinded the beans...I was gonna start over...s-sorry, sir...", you muttered. He leaned forward a bit. "Let me see them?", he questioned, in more of a demanding tone. You weren't gonna argue with a customer, so you showed him his beans. He shrugged. "I'm sure it'll be fine.", he said as he leaned back. "Yes sir.", you said, taking the beans to the coffee machine. "Uh, why don't you call me Taehyun? I'll probably end up being a regular, anyways.", he chuckled.

"Oh...alright...s-sure.", you mumbled, turning to pour the 'grounds' into the filter of the coffee maker. "What's your name?", you heard him ask. You kept your eyes on the maker, but leaned back a little to be sure he could hear you. "I'm Xiao Yinli.", you told him. "Yinli...you have a pretty name.", he mumbled.

You blushed, trying your best to make sure he couldn't see you. "Thank you, Taehyun-ssi...", you started the maker and turned to look at him. He had his hands on the counter, leaning on them. He smiled at you. His smile. Something about his smile was so familiar. Everything about him was familiar. Especially, his confidence. His name was throwing you for a loop, too. For some reason, 'Kang' kept popping in your head. You threw it out once more and finally finished making the coffee. Topping it off with some honey, and a lid, you set it down on the counter. You smiled at Taehyun and he smiled at you. His hand slid to grab the cup before you could pull your own away. Resulting in his hand grabbing yours. Electricity surged through your hand, and you very quickly removed your hand from the cup. "Erm...sorry. I-Is that it for you?", you asked, staring at the counter. He cleared his throat. "It is...uhm...have a nice rest of your day.", you could hear the embarrassment in his voice. You were sure he could see the crimson of your cheeks, but thankfully he didn't say anything. He put some money on the counter. "Thank you, Yinli-ah...", he said, then left the shop. You mentally slapped yourself and decided to just try to get on with your day. You looked at what he laid on the counter, about to put it in the register, when you saw a little piece of paper in-between the bills. Upon unfolding it, you saw a phone number. You chuckled and put the paper in your pocket, then went about the rest of your day.

The first imagine for this book, yay. I do believe that this book will have a regular schedule for updates (but don't quote me on that) as I have many backed up. Hopefully, I'll be able to get two out everyday. Anyways, bai my tea leaves~
