I finally got home and I saw Samantha watching TV

"Hey Sammy ." I greetef

"Hey..." She said bubbly

"Why is your face gloomy." She asked with a frown

I couldn't tell her. She will just go to Davien's house and beat him up

"J-just tired". I said and she looked at me suspiciously

"I am just tired ." I said in throwing my hands up .

"Hmm , if you say so." She said still not convince  but she dropped it nonetheless

"You can heat up your food in the microwave and have some freshly squeezed juice ." She said

"Yeah , thanks you are a life saver ." I said kissing her cheek

"I won't be going to work tomorrow." She said

"Ha great!! I wished I could stay too." I said sadly .I didn't want to face him after the little stunt I pulled out this evening

I got to my room and freshen up as I trailed to the kitchen to sort out my business

After eating, I pulled out my phone and I was scrolling through my mails . This was around 9:54pm . I saw a message from my boss .

Feeling a bit sceptical I didn't read it but on a second thought I decided to read it

From:Mr. Davien Ansel Russell

To:Miss Nevah  Haven Axcel

Subject: Leave for few days

Dear miss Nevah Axcel

Due to my current state of mine and yours . I would like to give you a three days work off.

Do not worry about the pending work . I will ask someone else to do it for me  .

I scoffed. He is literally freeing me from my work . I wanted to complain but I couldn't. I read on

I won't bother you and your salary will not be deducted. You are to resume on Monday at 8am sharp. No tardiness .

PS: Please email me the contract with J.A incorporated ASAP.
