So, for those of you who don't know me, my name is E.J McMoon and I'm your average, book-addicted, writer! Except for one thing...

I have Cerebral Palsy! You wanna know what that is? Look it up on Google!

Just kidding!

Cerebral Palsy is a birth defect. It's caused by the brain being wired in a weird way, and it affects the muscles. Symptoms may include muscle spasticity, floppy or rigid limbs, involuntary motions, and blah blah blah...

You should know that I'm practically quoting the internet. I don't even know how to describe my own disability. Isn't that pathetic?

Basically, I can walk on my own, but my muscles don't cooperate very well, so I have to use a walker OR a wheelchair in public areas. Got it? Or need I continue?

Anyhow, I'm not here to tell you what Cerebral Palsy is. I'm here to inform you about the biggest lies about the disabled that society engrains in everyone's mind (and the small ones too). First, let's start off by defining the word disabled, in case any of you people are confused:

disabled. : having a physical or mental disability : unable to perform one or more natural activities (such as walking or seeing) because of illness, injury, etc.

You got it? Okay, then. Let's get started!
