I got on the bus ready to enjoy the 30 minute ride that awaited. I kind of enjoyed bus rides, they were noisy but it was a great place to think,

"can I sit here" I herd someone say close to me. Not thinking they were talking to me so I ignored them.

"I'll take that as a yes" I herd before being scooted over by a strong forcive body

"oh, you again" I said as I looked over to see brian putting his backpack on the ground

"you sound dissapointed" he joked "did you think I was your boy friend?"

I giggled at the thought

"I'll just take that as a no" he said looking a bit confused

"good assumption"

"so when do you get off"

"everforever street, and you?!" I felt awkward talking about where I lived to a complete stranger, but something about him was so comforting and welcoming

"same, I live in the red house"

"OOH your the new neighbors" I said regretting my tone of voice.

"yea haha" he duuh-Ed "so we're you go on vacation again?"

A pure moment of 'oh shit' ran through my head, if he was my neighbor he knew we didn't actually go on vacation. Shitshit shit, what do I do?!

"she went to Chicago with her aunt and uncle" I turned around to see who was talking

"Lena? What are you doing?!"

"I have to walk a dog for a family friend that lives by you, then I'm coming over to your house for a suprise movie night"

"not such a suprise anymore" Brian butted in, smiling at his own comment he spoke again "here's our stop, shall we?!"

I sighed and stood up, my backpack was heavy and I knew I wouldn't be able to carry it the 5 blocks to my house.

"let me get that for you" Brian read my thoughts takin my backpack off my shoulders. I didn't protest.

"where's you move from?" I asked as the spike of curiousty came over me.

"a small town 2 hours north of dublin"

"You lived in Ireland?"

"and France, Spain, great britain and Australia"

I left my jaw hanging.

"impressed?!" he said with a tint of pleasure

"your american accent needs work" Trying not to show my amazment "it's totally fake"

His face turned red"ya..well umm it's harder than it looks" he said embaressed with his British accent starting to come through

Ohmygod! I thought to myself remembering all the times me and Lena and Katie would go to my room and talking in British accents for hours and hours and watch charlieissocoollike on YouTube.

I started giggling, if any of the girls found out about his accent they'd be all over him. Not that I would care.

He stoped walking "here we are" I looked around noticing the farmilliar blue house I had lived in since 1sh grade

"yes, here we are" I spoke softly, trying to cover up my dissapointment.

"see ya tomorrow" I smiled trying to act flirtasious but ended up tripping on a rock and falling flat on my face.

"probably not" He said trying to hold his laughter in

At this point my face was as red as a tomato. He handed me my backpack "need me to escort you to the door?" he asked still laughing

"I think I goOoooaaaaaah" I started screaming and dropped my back pack, there was a sharp pain the hand I used to catch myself.

"what's wrong?" he said turnin my hand over franticly to reveal it being bloody and a bone sticking out.

"is anyone home?" he spoke concerned

"no not untill 4" I flipped out

"i'm taking you to the hospital" putting his arm on the small of my back and lead me to his car "I don't think I've meet anyone who breaks bones more easily" he smiled trying to lighten the mood.

"can I borrow your phone?!" I asked trying to avoid the subject of why

"sure"

I took the phone and eagerly dialed my moms number"hey mom I fell and dis something to my hand, it's not that bad but the neighbor is taking me to the clinic, just a heads up,, bye"

"not that bad?! And the neighbor?!" he spoke slightly disapointed and amused

"I didn't want to worry her, and if I told her if was a guy shed jump to all kinds of assumptions that arnt true"

"yet" he whispered which made me think I wasn't suppose to hear it.

Once we got in the clinic it was pretty quick, it was the shortest visit I'd had since starting chemo, and the doctors didn't ask how I was feeling every minute. I ended up in a blue case with white strips.

"favorite colors?" Brian asked as we were walking out of the clinic

"noo, it's dukes colors" anyone who knew me knew that was my favorite colege basketball team.

When we got back I went home and fell asleep on the couch hoping to wake up in the mornin and this would all just be a dream. I didn't need an attractive guy with a British accent in my life. I didn't want to hurt any one. I didn't want to die.
