Her father managed a laugh. "I'll see what I can do. But two boys just got here. They said they were looking for you," he told her.

"If they both have dark hair and a blue jeep, then please tell them that one bear trap is enough for one week and I will walk to school over dealing with werewolf drama," she told him.

Chase looked at her curiously for that comment, not sure what the hell that meant. "Uh, they're twins," he said.

Ayla frowned. She hadn't seen the twins in two weeks and she had no idea why they would come to her. She stood up and grabbed her things. "Thanks for watching the demon under my bed," she told her father, before walking out of the house.

As she expected, both the twins were waiting on her porch. She shut the door behind her. "What the hell do you two want?" she wondered as she turned to face them.

"Did you seriously get a cat?" Ethan asked with a teasing smile.

Ayla glared at him. "The furry demon is Piper's, all right?" she questioned. He just continued to smile in amusement. "I didn't have a choice and if you do not get to answering my question, I will kick both your asses away from my house."

"We need a pack," Aidan told her.

"Then go find one," she replied.

"We did," Ethan reminded, sending her a look.

"Do I need to remind you both that not only did you just stand by while Kali killed Erica and tried to kill Derek, but you helped her kill Boyd? All three of them were apart of my pack," Ayla told them.

"And in the end, I helped you stop Kali from killing Derek," Ethan pointed out.

Ayla frowned at him, crossing her arms over her chest. While she wasn't a big fan of Aidan, Ethan was right. He had helped them multiple times. A part of her agreed that both deserved a second chance. Out of everyone in her pack, she understood wanting that. It wasn't like she had made the best first impression by stabbing both Scott and Stiles in the back when she sided with Peter.

"Why are you even talking to me?" she asked, letting her golden eyes glow for a moment. "I'm clearly not alpha."

"No, but from what we've heard, you were his enemy at one point as well," Aidan told her.

Ayla sent him a look, not sure how he knew about that.

"And given your relationship with him, we thought maybe you could help," Ethan added.

"I swear, I am going to punch the next person to bring up my dating life. It is no one's business," Ayla snapped.

"Are you going to help us or not?" Aidan asked.

The she-wolf just sighed.

The three werewolves were standing in the school parking lot together when Scott pulled up on his bike. He looked at them in surprise as he took his helmet off. "You're back in school?" he asked the twins as they walked over to him.

"They're just here to talk," Ayla assured him.

"Oh. That's kind of a change of pace for them. Usually they're just hurting, maiming, and killing," Stiles said as he joined the four werewolves.
