Virgil: Isn't it possible he just... passed out still holding it?

Logan: Even if he managed to do that, he wouldn't be able to concentrate on keeping us out otherwise.

Virgil: Well... he is generally stronger than me.

Patton: Don't say that you fantastic- *Virgil stares* I mean-- ah darn it. I've been doing so well. You... you...

Janus: Just call him emo and move on.

Patton: Yeah! -Wait what?

Janus: He'll take it as a compliment so long as it doesn't come from me.

Logan: Tere is little doubt in my mind that even he couldn't stand the circumstances you were under. He must have some other information...

Virgil: Even so... what do we do now?

Logan: We need to determine the best approach... How do we best get in?

Patton: How about we dig a tunnel into it?

Thomas: Oh! We could use my drill! Claude!

Logan: Thomas, don't attempt that. You must understand that our rooms don't actually have entrance points.

Thomas: ... What?

Janus: There is no direct place you can go to enter. You just sort of... appear there.

Thomas: Ooh... I'm out of ideas then.

Logan: That being said I think Patton is onto something.

Patton: Really?!?!

Virgil: How? There is no point we can dig through.

Logan: Yes, but we may be able to find a weak spot if we think of the lock as a physical object. A force field if you will.

Janus: Ah... I see what you're getting at.

Thomas: I don't.

Patton: Neither do I. It was just something I threw out there. I'm like Phoenix Wright throwing stuff out till something sticks! Then I find the contradiction in the-

Janus: Not a good time, honey.

Patton: oop *giggle* sorry

Virgil: Alright so explain it to us geniuses.

Logan: Say we attack a force field. What happens?

Thomas: Well... we should bounce off.

Logan: That is the effect. What is the cause?

Thomas: Oh uh... we hit it... apply a force.

Logan: Exactly. Now describes that force.

Thomas: I dunno. A normal force?

Janus: You must imagine the distribution of the force on the shield, assuming we come from different directions.

Patton: How can we come from different directions?

Janus: There aren't directions to begin with, Pat. So we can't come through the same 'place'

Patton: ah haha! I don't get it!

Virgil: We just attack from different places ok? Then what?

Logan: Imagine the distribution

Thomas: Well... it would go out from the place of impact.

Virgil: Therefore covering a big area... I see.

Thomas: What?

Remus: *pops us* You can see through that messed-up eyeshadow??

Janus: Quiet, Remus.

Logan: What I am suggesting we do, is change our 'point' of attack. Meaning we all hit one place.

Patton: But I thought... there aren't any places... so we can't all be there.

Logan: Correct, however, if we combined all our power into one mass attack, one force, it would only hit one spot.

Janus: So it's like... with the power of friendship we are extra strong with this special move.

Patton: ah-ha! I see now!

Logan: And you Thomas?

Thomas: So you're saying... we collectively send one person... to overpower the lock?

Virgil: Will that even work? I mean, there still isn't a "place" to attack. And can we even share our power, er, concentration, or whatever?

Logan: It is just a hypothesis, but I. Believe this is the one that should be tested.

Virgil: ...Alright. I'll head off again and you-

All: No! Absolutely not! You can't! Stay here!
