"What were you doing there?" Scott asked, turning to Isaac.
"Uh," Isaac mumbled, searching for an explanation. Anything other than telling his friend that he had been looking for Allison. But Scott could tell, and he threw the beta into the opposite wall. Isaac slid onto the ground in the hallway, but just nodded in understanding.
"Oh, you guys, come on! This house does not have a supernatural ability to heal!" Melissa called from downstairs.
"You can always call me to come drag their asses out if you need me!" Ayla yelled back.
"I'll keep that offer in mind!" Melissa told her.
Ayla chuckled, turning to Scott. "Does this happen often?" she wondered.
He shrugged. "More so lately," he told her.
Ayla frowned as she finally realized why Scott had thrown him into a wall. "Because he likes Allison," she said.
Scott looked at her, suddenly wishing he had waited to throw Isaac into the wall till she went home. "Ayla," he began.
She shook her head. "I just... I wanted you to know. I'll be going now," she told him.
"Ayla," he said, but she was already halfway down the stairs.

When had the pack gotten their own lunch table? Ayla wasn't sure. Typically, the banshee, huntress and she-wolf would be sat together while Scott and Stiles sat somewhere else. Isaac just kind of migrated from side to side. Today they were all together, though, discussing their latest problem.
At least till Piper suddenly dropped into the empty seat at the table. Everyone looked at her in surprise. "What? I have no friends. I might as well get entertainment from this little Scooby Gang," she told them.
"If we're the Scooby Gang, then who is who?" Ayla wondered.
Piper thought for a moment. "Well, Stiles is obviously Velma," she said. Her ex snorted as the human boy turned to glare at both.
"Seriously?" he asked.
"What? Aren't you the one who puts all the clues together?" Piper asked.
"Can you find a way to say that without making me a nerdy girl?" Stiles wondered.
"Hey, don't insult Velma. She's beauty and brains," Ayla reminded. All her friends were just watching this interaction in amusement.
"Eh, I always had a crush on Daphne," Piper admitted.
Ayla frowned. "Mystery Inc. Daphne. At least she had more of a personality," she told her.
"Exactly," Piper agreed.
"I'm Mystery Inc. Daphne in this scenario, aren't I?" Lydia asked.
"Of course. You have to be with that hair," Ayla said with a smile. Lydia nodded in approval.
"Oh, my God," Stiles muttered, rubbing his eyes.
Scott sighed, knowing this was going to escalate to an argument between his best friend and the Hale if no one did anything. "Okay, so what happens to a person who has a near-death experience and comes out of it seeing things?" he asked his friend.
