Piper was looking at the girl in a way that Ayla could only ever remember her looking at either her, or a fictional character. The she-wolf managed a smile at that. If she was moving on, she had no reason to be angry that the other girl was doing the same. She then turned her attention to Scott, but she wasn't sure if he had even turned towards Kira. His eyes were instead trained on the other werewolf. Ayla felt her cheeks redden slightly at the realization that he had been looking at her. But Scott quickly turned away to try to hide that fact.

"Now, let's begin with American History at the turn of the 20th century," Mr. Yukimura announced.

Scott glanced back at Ayla one more time, and this time he noticed that the she-wolf was still blushing.

"You have a crush!" Ayla said in a sing-song voice as she chased Piper out of their history class.

"I am not discussing this with you," Piper told her.

"Oh, come on," Ayla complained.

"We need boundaries," Piper reminded.

"We'll never have boundaries. It's what happens when you know basically everything about a person," Ayla told her.

"Yeah, but now we're exes. We shouldn't be talking about our love life's together," Piper explained.

"So you do like her," Ayla realized.

"I did not say that!" Piper exclaimed.

"You meant it," Ayla teased as the two walked down the hall.

With the school day over, Ayla headed out to the woods with her two best friends. Lydia stuck the target to a tree, getting things ready for Allison. They were testing to see if the huntress could hit a target with the side effects still bothering her.

"Do you really think this is going to help?" Allison asked her friends.

"I know that if you think it's not going to help, it definitely won't," Lydia told her as she walked over to them.

"Just try," Ayla told her friend.

"Yeah, get your head into it, shoot a few and see what happens," Lydia said.

Allison pulled an arrow back with shakey hands and released it. She completely missed the tree and the arrow lodged into the ground next to it. Ayla grimaced. "That... that's okay. You're warming up," she encouraged. Allison sent her a look, before pulling another arrow back. It once again lodged in the ground.

"Maybe hold the string a different way. Try the Mongolian draw," Lydia told her. Both allison and Ayla sent her a look. "What? I read. Try it."

Allison pulled another arrow back, but this time she held the box horizontally. She released the arrow, but it missed the tree just like the others. "Well," Ayla muttered.

Lydia sent her a look. "Just take a second to close your eyes and imagine the arrow going into the target," Lydia told the Argent.

Allison closed her eyes for a moment, taking in a deep breath. She then opened them, and saw someone run past them. "Did you see that?" she asked her friends.
