Moving in to a new town is a bit difficult, especially when you used to be an actor but ended up being a teacher for a year. The only good thing about moving in to this town is that no one actually knows me. Well that is what my uncle told me once I moved in. So, I think I'll be fine.

I walked in to the bathroom of my new apartment house. The saddest part about this is I can't see any of my friends. I'm too far away from home.

I get in the shower and did my normal bathroom routine. I then hopped out of the shower and dried myself off. I walked out of the bathroom and put on a polo shirt and a black jeans. I was going to just stay home tonight but my planned got canceled when the father across the street invited me to have a dinner with them tonight. I have no idea how this night is going to end up but I hope it's going to be great.

I walked in to the full size mirror. I strengthen my clothing and fix my brown silky smooth hair. I looked at the clock, 6 o'clock. It's time to leave.

I walked in to the living room and put on my black shoes. I opened the door and walked outside. A cold breeze, soothing air suddenly hit my face. I stepped out of the porch steps and walked across the street. I stepped on their porch and knocked on the door. It took a while for someone to open the door but they did eventually.

A 5'5 feet tall girl with long black smooth hair and a shining brown eyes, answered the door. I look at her eyes then up and down. She's wearing a black sweatpants and a t-shirt with an apron full of flour around her perfect body.

"And there goes the first impression," she giggled, her eyes brightened. "You must be Mr. Dallas?"

"That's me," I smiled and she returned the gesture.

She opened the door wider for me to come in. I hesitated at first but she gestured me to come in.

"Dad," she shouted, with her soft angelic voice. "Mr. Dallas is here."

"I'll be right there," a man voice yelled back from the kitchen.

She offered me a seat at the maroon leather couch and she sat down beside me.

"I am really sorry if I am such a mess right now and so is my dad," she explained, laughing at every word she said. "He just got home from work an hour ago and I just got back from summer camp."

She mumbled the last part but I'll pretend that I didn't hear it, if that's what she wants.

"That's okay," I smiled and she sighed in relief. "I can wait."

"Are you sure?" she asked and I nodded my head.

She reached out for the TV remote from the coffee table. She turned to me and handed me the remote.

"You can watch TV if you want," she offered to me. "I don't want you to just sit here, doing nothing."

"Thank you," I smiled and she returned it.

"Honey," a man said again from the kitchen, who I'm guessing is her dad.

"Yeah?" she asked, standing up from the couch.

"Umm," her dad said, nervously. "I... umm... burned the... I burned the brownies."

"Dad," she slightly yelled and ran to the kitchen.

No! Wait! I didn't get your name! I thought to myself.

Her dad walked towards me with an apologetic look on his face, with flour all over his clothing too.

"Hi, I'm Mr. Hutcherson," he said, reaching his arms out for a shake. "But you can call me Josh."

(A/N: Get it? Josh Hutcherson? AHH!! But it's not him though.)
