"In your marks. Get Set. Go!" The flag girl raised the checkered flag then waved it down as the Cars speed off. The whole place was loud, crowds cheering and some boy betting on who wins. it's always the same scenario on every car racing Ashlyn have ever gone to and this time she is competing.

"you can win this Ash," she says to herself as she stepped on the gas pedal catching up to her opponent's car and passing by it, her taking the lead.

"come on! 1 lap left," Ashlyn gripped on the steering wheel and maintained her speed.

when she was closing in on the finish line, a cat suddenly appeared on the road causing Ashlyn to hit the brakes and turn her wheel to the right then bumping a tree. it wasn't a hard impact but it did make Ashlyn's head hurt. in the end, she lost

she got out of her car and cursed the cat for being on the road. and for humiliating her. so she punched her car and kicked the cat, cursing while grabbing her hair frustratingly

"well that was fun to watch" suddenly a man whispered to her ear making her jump and glared at the man

"would you rather have my fun then?" Ashlyn retorted and walked away. the man following her

"aren't you gonna congratulate me? I beat you" The man cheekily said making Ashlyn stop in her tracks and turned to face the man pointing at him

"hey! you may be fucking gorgeous but I deserved that win than you! if it weren't for that stupid cat, I would've beat you already" she let out a frustrated groan and continued to walk away

"yeah, you would've" He chuckled and followed her

"did you just emphasized on 'would've"? because I'm gonna beat you up right now" she cracked her knuckles and looked at him dead

"I surrender. I would never hit girls"

"Just pretend that I'm a man who is about to crush your pretty face" she attempted to punch him but he just blocked it

"you know, there is a bar nearby. wanna drink with me? my treat"

"sure, I'm down for drinks anyway and only because you're pretty," Ashlyn said and waited for Jungkook to get his car
