Work Hours Part 7 •Namjoon•

Chapter 7 - Your POV

"we're here sir" The driver stopped the car and Namjoon was the first to get out. I opened my door and was about to step out but Namjoon offered me his hand, which I gladly accepted. he helped me get out of the car and closed the door.

we looked at the entrance and I see a lot of people that is wearing gown and suits. then suddenly I felt nervous. I heard Namjoon chuckle so I looked at him

"no need to be nervous, it's just the same as our work but a more formal one. we just need to introduce our platform and get as many investors okay?" I nodded and smiled

"Let's go?" He offers me his arm and I gladly linked my arms in them as we walked in the event hall. greeting everyone that we passed by

we took the elevator and got to the rooftop where the event will be held. we got out of the elevator and I was met by a cool breeze.

the whole place is beautiful. the sun has set and the place is huge. it's like a hotel bar. a few guests arrived early and that includes us since the event will start at 6:30 pm and it is currently 6:00

we took a seat near the stage where we will be standing when we make our presentation.

"most of the guests are investors, I think only 3 to 5 companies are presenting later. that includes us." I nodded and looked around, noticing that guests are arriving one by one, each woman wearing an elegant gown and dresses and Men wearing high-end suits.

soon enough the whole place was filled with guests and the event is about to start

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming in such a wonderful evening. may I call on the 5 companies that will be presenting?" We stood up and bowed to the rest of the guests.

Soon, the presentation began.

Time skip

"Yes thank you for investing" soon after the presentations the investors started to approach us. And now we are currently talking to the most valued investors here in the event.

"I will give you a call. Please excuse me" The investor stood and we bowed at him. I gave Namjoon a smile after he rearranged the files

"Why don't you have something to drink? I can handle a few things from here. You never attended an event like this, so please, enjoy it. We will be busy later anyways" He gently say so I stood up and smiled at him. Excusing myself to a few guests that I passed by.

I sat down on the barstool and ordered a drink.

"What can I have for you on this lovely evening mademoiselle" the bartender approached me
