.Chapter 18.

Katerina's POV

"Leonardo, You gotta tell me what we are shopping for" i told him as he handed the bags to his guards while they put it in the trunk

He came over to me and placed his hand on my cheek while giving me a kiss on my forehead
"Cmon now Mi Amor, if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise, wouldn't it?"

I just smiled and got into the car as we headed back home

-30 minutes later-

We finally made it home and I was in the middle of doing my makeup while Nico was playing with king and zeus while Aurora was laying down in her bed that I bought for her specifically for when she is in my room

I was letting down my hair before Leonardo walked in and called out for me

"Katerina!" He called out
"In here" i called back from the bathroom as he stepped in and laid back on the counter while looking at me smiling

"Que paso Leonardo?" I asked with a smile while looking at him making direct eye contact

"Nothing its just that it is such a shame that i won't be able to ruin your pretty little makeup look tonight" he said with a smile while making direct eye contact and grabbing my chin to make Me look at him

"Yeah It's such a shame, don't worry soon mi amor" i said while patting his cheek and giving a kiss on the lips while picking up nico and walking to the room as The dogs followed behind Leo

I sat Nico on the bed and got her dressed and fixed her curls and giving her a little bow that matches her dress and as soon as i finished she reached out her hands for Leo to pick her up and he did as i sat down and strapped up my heels and got up to fix my dress

"All Done, How do I look amor?" I asked Leonardo

"You look gorgeous, Amor like a queen and Nico Looks like a princess, My two royal Ladies" he said with a smile as he grabbed my hand with nico in his arms and walked us downstairs and to the car as we got in the car and drove off.

"So, Can i Atleast know where we are going?" I asked

"Hmm yes, We are going to one of my mothers restaurants in the heart of Paris" He said with a smile

I smiled and leaned back in the seat and waited till we arrived and as soon as we arrived leo came around the car to help me out and he picked up Nicolette as we walked in and a lady came up to us.

"Good Evening Boss, Your guest is already upstairs waiting for your arrival" she said as she led the way to the elevator and showed us to the room but before we went inside leo stopped me at the door and looked directly at me

"Amor if anything happens there is a button under your chair, press it and i will come as fast as i can, Okay?"

I nodded my head yes, at this point he was starting to scare me but i just brushed past it and walked inside and sat inside the room and nico in her highchair next to me, But there is nobody here

It was quiet for a few minutes before I heard the side door at the end of the room open and out came a man dressed in very nice clothing and he looked very important.

His eyes opened wide when he saw me and nico as he sat on the chair all the way across from us

"Hi katerina" he said to me with the biggest smile

"Um hello, Do I know you?" I asked him as I handed Nico the crayons since they gave her a coloring sheet.

"Well um yes, I'm your brother" he said and i sat there in shock as i studied his face and i noticed the scar on his right eye and as soon i noticed who it was my jaw dropped

"Mauricio?" I asked as he smiled and rubbed his neck

"Long time no see sis" He smiled as i got up and rushed over to him to give him a hug as i felt my tears fall

"I have missed you so so much"i cried out as i grabbed nico and sat us closer to him and we sat down as he grabbed my hand in his

"You have no clue how much i have missed you too sis" he said as he started to laugh since he was crying too

"Tell me everything" we said at the same time without thinking and we both laughed and then Nico copied us which made our smiles even bigger

"You go first brother" i said to him with a smile

-3 hours later-

In those three hours we talked about what happened after our parents died , what he did and what he was doing up until now and i did the same and at this point him and Nico were playing with each other like as if she has known him her entire 1 year of life which made me so happy but it was time to go now

We said our goodbyes and exchanged numbers as me and Me and Nico left with Leonardo

She was fast asleep when i looked back and when i turned back to the front and looked over at leonardo he was smiling ear to ear as i pinched his cheek

"What are you smirking for, hmm?" I said with a smile as he continued smiling but this time he laughed

"Nothing mi amor, im just glad i get to make you happy , You deserve it" he said as he took his hand in mine and gave me a kiss on the top of my hand as i placed my head on his shoulders

"Yeah, you make us very happy" i replied
