Chapter 11

Katerina's POV

We made it into the driveway and that drive alone was around 5 minutes but me and Nico spent those 5 minutes being intrigued by the amount of flowers he had planted every type of flowers you could think of but mainly there were Roses not the normal red ones but White ones that just gave the driveway a sort of fantasy type of Aura.

I guess me and Nico were making it pretty obvious that we loved his front yard that told me
"There are for my grandmother, she loved white roses so i had my house filled with them, Do you like them?"

"Do i like them i love the-" i tried to reply but was cut off by Nicos Happy Sounds and We both just laughed but what surprised me more was when she looked over at Leonardo And hopped into his laps and laid down on his chest

"Nicolette No-" "My love it's fine leave her she seems pretty tired" when he said that i felt my nerves calm down

Leonardo de Los santos , Why do you care so much for me and my daughter?

But i brushed the thought aside when we pulled up to the front door

"Here let me grab Nicolette so that you ca-"
"Leave her I don't want to wake her up, we can put her in her room" once we get inside

"Oh okay, wait hold on a second, what do you mean her room?" I asked him

"What you thought that I wouldn't get a room for my future Step-Daughter ? You pretty Amusing Katerina , i like that" he chuckled as he got out and opened the door for me while holding his hand out

We walked into the house and my jaw just fell to the floor we looked around before i heard something well more than one thing heading our way and the things were moving pretty fast , they came from around the hall and it was 2 Rottweilers heading our way but they slowed down that i was their

Someone unfamiliar to them i assume, I bent down to their level and sticked out my hand for them to get used to me and once they did i was attacked with Kisses all i did was laugh before getting back up as they Sat in front of Leonardo and he petted their heads

"Those are My dogs, well more like sons , The One on the Left Is King and The one on the Right is Zeus , you will always be able to tell them apart don't worry King has a Blue collar and is Always sleeping while Zeus has a Yellow collar and is always Sleeping in the living room, in conclusion they are both always sleeping , don't worry they wont hurt Nico"

"Yeah she is not allergic or anything and they seem like pretty good boy- , What is that sound?" I asked him while looking down the same hall that King and zeus came down from , it was little tapping sounds , was it another dog?

"Oh that would be the Little Lady of the house, That is Aurora , My Pomeranian, and she is more like my daughter" He finished as we walked into the living room and sat down on the couch and Aurora Finally appeared from down the hall , She really took her time

She came over to me and hopped on the Couch as i petted her , "Leonardo she is Gorgeous" i told him as he thanked me , I guess she like that since she started to wag her tail pretty fast.

We stayed and talked with everyone for a little while until Leonardo Grabbed me and Nico and Walked upstairs while King and Zeus Followed us and Aurora Stayed on the couch

"Leonardo,Where are we going?" I asked him
"You will see Amor just come with me"

We walked and walked until we came to the final door on the hallway, when we walked inside it was pretty dark until he turned the lights on and the room instantly turned into a extremely lavish Nursery and my jaw dropped as i looked at Leonardo

"Leonardo, ¿a quién pertenece esta habitación? Por favor no me digas que es para Nico, esto es demasiado"
( Leonardo, Who does this room belong to? please do not say it is for Nico , This is too much )

He did not even answer me he just proceeded to Take off her little boots, Place her in her crib, and then Wrap her in her blanket but she did not like the blanket i am assuming that she did not like the texture but he knew exactly what was wrong he Called one of his Female maids , When she came up She had the same blanket that Nico had on the plane with her in her hands, She handed it to him and walked away

He walked past the crib and walked into some room that looked like a closet and called me over ad i walked in I Noticed that it was a huge Walk in closet Filled with Baby and Toddler stuff , i walked over to where he was and he opened a drawer Filled With Pacifiers Of every style , every brand even some expensive brands and Each shade that they make for pacifiers and it was the same exact thing for every thing , The closet was filled with everything From Hats to formula for her.

"Pick one for her" he told me and i looked and saw one that i knew she would Love it was a baby link pacifier with a little butterfly in front of it and just like how i guessed she liked it , we finished everything in her room then we Left downstairs.

Why does he care so much for us?
