My parents have a good relationship. My mom was soft-spoken while my Dad, he's not uptight but can be authoritative sometimes, as the head of our home. They never restrict us at the house, maliban na lang sa pagmumura. That's why whenever I am outside, I'll curse whenever I want pero pagdating sa bahay ay kailangan kong mag-ingat.

I have two older sisters. I was the youngest  and I wasn't even babied kasi lalaki nga raw ako. I don't need some babysitting because I was already good on my own. Living in this kind of family, made me feel free of my choices. I can be happy of what I want to be.

"Zoe, come downstairs! It's movie night!" My sister, Suedelle, called. Nasa kwarto pa ako pero rinig na rinig ko na ang boses niya. I was busy scrolling through my desktop looking for Nori's facebook account.

Ilang beses ko ng hinanap pero wala akong makita.

Feeling irritated and frustrated, I shut down my pc and went downstairs to join my family. Siksikan sina Mama sa malapad na couch. Dad was already on the floor with a popcorn on his lap. I had no choice but to join him there since my sisters love to play with our hair whenever we watch.

"Kaninong choice this week?" tanong ni Mom.

"Kay Zoe but it seems like he's not in the mood to pick kaya ako na lang." Ate Shilvana said.

"Nope!" I lazily said popping the 'p'. "I'm going to pick the movie."

All of my sisters groaned. Si Mom ay mahinang tumawa lang. She gave me the remote control as I scrolled through the list of movies. Narinig ko last week sina Mallorie na nag-uusap kaya nagkaroon ako ng ideya sa papanuorin ngayon. I'm sure my sisters won't hate me for this.

"What? Me Before You? Since when did you become romantic-ish?" Si Ate Suede iyon.

"I heard it from Mal last week. Might want to give it a try." I languidly said as I grab a handful of popcorn from Dad.

"Have you watched it honey?" tanong ni Dad kay Mom.

"Hindi pa. Let's watch that one. Mukhang maganda."

"Matagal na pala 'to? It's like Mom's time pa." Ate Shil said as she clicked on the description.

"Really? Hindi ko alam," Mom chuckled.

I laid my back on the couch. Naramdaman ko agad ang kamay ni Ate Suede sa aking buhok nang sumandal ako. I don't always mind whenever she plays with my hair o kung sino sa kanila. Sometimes they would braid it when it's a bit longer, minsan nilalagyan nila ng maliliit na sanrio and I'd look like a spike on a virus.

When the movie started, my sisters looked excited. Mom and Dad were silent as we watched. At some point, we would laugh about my sisters getting 'kilig' on how beautiful the man was despite having an ugly attitude.

I'll give him some point, he looked a bit sarcastic but smart. The girl, Lou, she looks cute with her tights. She wore it like everyday. She's got good character, too and funny.

I've always like these kind of movies. Sinanay na ako ng mga kapatid ko na manuod nang ganito so that when I date a girl, I know what to watch and it would seem romantic for them. It became useful. I had two girlfriends last year, back when I was in eleventh grade. Now that I was on my last grade, I don't intend to have one. Gusto ko ka lang mag-focus muna.

But then, here comes Norine Ahava, knocking on your door like an angel? Tapos frustrated ka kasi hindi mo makita ang facebook account niya, huh, Sweven?

I was just curious about her. Kung bakit siya umabot sa SFU when she could have find work somewhere near CSF. Commercialized area naman iyon. She doesn't look familiar to me either that's why I wanted to somehow dig deeper about her.
