Felix's POV

I felt someone moved beside me. I woke up and saw Keyzi sitting beside me while laughing at my face. She is wearing the necklace I gave her and the hairpin I bought for her.

"Y-You are alive?"

She looks confused "What are you saying? Let's eat! Mom and Dad were waiting! Also, we have a surprise for you"

I stood up when she started dragging me from my bed. I just let her drag me outside my room, downstairs. As we entered the kitchen, I saw Mom and Dad laughing together.

"Good morning, Felix" Mom smiled

"You should eat before you leave" Dad said while eating the bacon

"I'm home" someone said behind me

As I turned around, I saw Lowell wearing his college uniform and carrying his bag on his left hand. He is massaging his head as he sat down beside where I am.

"What are you doing? Let's eat" Lowell told me while started eating

"Where did you go?"

"I went to a bar last night with some friends. We just finished earlier. Why? Are you gonna tell Mom?" he jokingly teased me

That's what his dream is. To have fun with some friends and feel the life of a normal college student who doesn't limit himself. He wanted to drink, party and do some sports too...

"Is this a dream?"

"Sit down!" Keyzi told me and pulled me

I can't believe this. We are complete. We look happy and we look like there is nothing that can break us all apart. Mom and Dad were sweet and nice to me and Keyzi. Then Lowell is fine and partying with his friends. Keyzi is alive.

Damn.

This is what I wanted.

This is what I have been dreaming for.

"Felix, set yourself free" Keyzi suddenly said while smiling

"Keyzi-"

"You deserve to be happy" Keyzi giggled


I felt the sunlight touched my skin. I opened my eyes and saw no one beside me. It was me all along. In this room, I am alone. No happy family, no Keyzi's giggle, no Lowell's sarcastic answers, and no sweet response from Mom and Dad.

I opened my phone and saw a picture of Keyzi looking at me with her puppy face. I felt my tears started falling from my eyes. Why does this have to happen? I thought I will be fine once I rest but it didn't help at all. I am still hurt. It's still fresh to me. Everything still hurt.

What hurts even more is that, I can't bring back Keyzi. I can't make the dream come true. I hope I didn't wake up and stayed in that dream forever. Why the fuck is the world so unfair to me?

"Felix" Ayumi called as she entered the room

"Keyzi is not going to come back"

She sat beside me and hugged me tight "She is always with you. I am sure she is guiding you to do the right decisions. Felix, Keyzi is such an angel and that made her even more special"

"I'm sorry"

I'm sorry for lying to you. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth. I am sorry for using you when you are the nicest person I have ever known. I am sorry for being stupid. I am sorry.

"If you are sorry, help yourself. Don't let yourself get drown. Felix, you are the only person who can help yourself" Ayumi said and keep caressing my back "Let's eat. My brothers are waiting"

I nodded.

I went to the bathroom and fixed myself. Both Ayumi and I went downstairs to the kitchen. Her brothers were wearing their uniforms, except for Sangyeon who is working already.

"Let's eat" Hyunjae told me

We both sat down and started eating.

"Felix, it might be hard for you but you have to be strong" Sangyeon smiled at me

"He is right. Your sister might be disappointed in you if you won't take care of yourself" Hyunjae

"Listen to them. They know a lot except for finding a girlfriend" Juyeon teased the two and stood up "I need to leave. I'll see you all later" he suddenly left

"He can't really help" Sangyeon rolled his eyes

"I am courting someone" Hyunjae suddenly announced

"Uh... So?" Sangyeon

"Nothing. I just want to brag about it. Well... They said family should be the first to know, not my friends" Hyunjae

"Congrats?" Ayumi

"Thanks. Be ready to have a nephew" Hyunjae laughed

"Do you have a death wish? Hmm?" Sangyeon asked

"That was a joke. I need to leave. Bye!" Hyunjae said and hurriedly left the kitchen

"You should get used to us now. I can see that you two will marry each other-" Sangyeon

Ayumi started coughing "Are you crazy? Why would you-"

"Why? You don't want to marry me?"

"H-Huh? It's not like that. I mean uh... Sangyeon doesn't always talk like that... I mean I didn't expect him to say that" Ayumi bit her lower lip

"I'll just take a bath. Good morning, by the way" I bowed to her brother and went upstairs

I went to Ayumi's room, to her bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror.

"Felix, you look more happy here"

Just seeing them get along and treats me like I am one of them makes me happy. What more if I really become their family? I think that's impossible...

I know they will hate me once they find out.
