Chrollo's eyes widened before he looked away to blush. His gray eyes looked off to the skyline ahead of him. Why must you say these type of things, y/n?
"As a friend. Is it okay if I say that?" Your face moved closer to his, anticipating his response.
"It just feels like a very strong statement," he scratched the back of his neck.
You were not fazed by his apprehension. "Well I deeply care about you Lolo and want us to stay friends forever."
"I guess that's love?"
"I think so!"
Chrollo was quiet for a moment. His eyebrows furrowed which indicated he was in deep thought, and you could only imagine the extent to which your friend was analyzing the definition of love.
"You're the first person to say that to me, so thank you."
"Thank you?" you jokingly pushed him. "I'll wait for the day you tell me you love me." He failed to maintain a straight face. You spotted the small smile. "But you're very welcome Lolo."
