"Ehy Adora" a familiar voice, in the most mellow tone, said.
"E-ehy Cat, how are you doing?" The blonde returned the greetings, awfully hiding her nervousness.

Why was the brunette so good in making her flustered?

"I'm alright, Scorpia is arrived with my things and we are setting them. She might stay for a couple of days: I'll let her my bed and sleep in yours." The latina told her.
"Oh, sounds perfect! Thank you for not letting strangers sleep in my bed." She said happily.
"Yeah...and can I hang my pride flag in our room? In my side, of course. It's the colourful one, you will like it." Catra asked, a little less arrogantly then usual.
"Sure thing, I actually used to have some little flags, but they broke and I ended up not buying new ones." The blonde said, surprising not little her friend.
"Aren't you straight?" She asked, can't helping the question to slip out.
"Probably...anyhow, most of my friends aren't, so I've been to many prides and queer events since I met Glimmer and Bow." Adora told, feeling extra-awkward for some reason.
"Oh, ehm, ok so...here is alright. Did you- SCORPIA! CAREFUL WITH THAT!" Catra snapped as a thud could be heard.
"Sorry!" The blonde managed to hear.
"Adora, give me a moment." The brunette said calmly, before leaving her phone on the table.
The blonde tried to overhear the most she could, but there were just noises and Catra eventually came back.
"I'm here." She announced.
"Oh, Ehy, is everything ok? Was something broken?" The concerned girl asked.
"No, nothing damaged, don't worry. So, why did you call?" Catra questioned, exhausted but trying her best to be nice.
"I wanted to ask you if you were in for a grill party this Saturday. I want to introduce you to my friends and Sea Hawk can do the best grilled fish in town...their place is on the water, you could even bring firewor-" The blonde said, interrupted by an over enthusiastic voice.
"I'm in! Adora, I want to blow something up!" She exclaimed and the friend could picture her wide smile and shiny eyes.
Adora released the most heartwarming and sincere laugh.
"You got it, Cat. I'm sure my friends will love you." The girl said contented.
"Sure thing, the prissy princesses will welcome me as happily as Sparkles does." The brunette commented sarcastically, switching her mood in a instant.
"I can assure you that anyone in the group is very unique and you and Glimmer just need time to warm up to each other. You are way more similar then what you think: smart, proud, kind and resolute. Give her a chance." Adora encouraged her.
"Don't tell me what to do." Catra scoffed, a red mess for the compliments.
"Ok...see you on Friday?" The blonde muttered.
"Sure princess." The latina answered softer.
"Great, have fun with Scorpia and say hi from me...if she doesn't hate me anymore." She said, obviously uncomfortable.
"Don't worry, the big gal is fine with you now." Catra assured.
"Great! Bye!" Adora cheered.
"Bye Princess." The brunette muttered, closing the phone call.
